Why Women Have An Abortion
> 50% said they didn’t want to be a single parent or had problems
> 66% said they could not afford the child
> 75% said that it would interfere with their lives
> 95% said for reasons of convenience.
Former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop said that in his 35 years in medicine he has “never seen one case where abortion was necessary to save a woman’s life.”
President Ronald Reagan once said he had read in the Washington Post about a young woman named Victoria. She was with child and said, “In this society we save whales, we save timber wolves, bald eagles, and coke bottles. Yet everyone wanted me to throw away my baby.”
The penalty for killing an unborn eagle in this country is a fine of up to $5000 and up to five years in prison. But, the killing of an unborn baby is not considered a crime at all, as long as the mother approves.
Where is the value for human life?

Now What Should We Do About Abortion
1. Be informed
2. Work & pray for a constitutional amendment
3. Teach sexual morality in the home
4. Have more compassion for the unwed mother
5. Speak out
6. Don’t be swayed by abortion arguments
7. Pray for America’s Revival
Conclusion: The one thing that God values more than life itself is New Life in Christ.
Jesus valued everyone He came in contact
“to seek and save the lost.”
John 4, Woman at the well, He gave her what she was really looking for – a relationship with Him
John 8, woman caught in adultery,
instead of stones, He gave love & grace.
We should support the sanctity of Life.
Even more, celebrate life to the soul
