The LAMB of GOD, the LORD. (Acts 8:32-33)

Acts 8:32-33

32 The passage of Scripture he had been reading was this: “He was led like a sheep to the slaughter. And as a lamb is silent before the shearers, he did not open his mouth.

33 He was humiliated and received no justice. Who can speak of his descendants? For his life was taken from the earth.

= Of all the animals, pigs cry, dogs bite, cats will scratch, only the lamb will not make a sound, it will not hurt you when you kill it. It faithfully and meekly submits himself to the shearer and even up to death, it will not make a sound.

(2) Truth of His Second Coming

(3) Truth of His Coming Glory

(4) Truth of His Position or Place in Heaven - Right Hand of GOD

(5) Truth of His Coming back - the rapture

B. False authority figure with false commands:

1. All they are = talk with no power or authority

- the WORD of GOD is not just words. (1 Thessalonians 1:5)

1 Thessalonians 1:5

For when we brought you the Good News, it was not only with words but also with power, for the Holy Spirit gave you full assurance that what we said was true. And you know of our concern for you from the way we lived when we were with you.

1 Timothy 2:4

who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.

= GOD wants to save Caiaphas and even Pontius Pilate.

= He's confronting them, He wants to save their souls.

2. He's giving them a chance to Caiaphas to repent.

= His Goodness will lead us to repentance. (Romans 2:4)

Romans 2:4

Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?

IX. CONCLUSION:

When GOD gives us opportunity to repent, repent and worship.

When GOD gives us opportunity to worship Him, worship with all our might.
