2. Secondly, John claims One Encounters the Love of God

2Dear friends, now we are children of God,

A. The kind of Love you encounter is Unbounded" by fear Christ died for us"

B. The Kind of love you encounter is Unlimited "vs 22 we receive what asked for"

C. The kind of Love you encounter is Unconditional "It is whosoever will"

D. The kind of Love you encounter is Unchangeable "I am the same today

Yesterday and forever and behold I change not”

3. Thirdly, we Encounter that which Purifies Us

3Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.

A. Our life is characterized by trying to do what is right

B. I give because I Believe in Christ

C. I come to Gods house because I have imperfections

D. I pray more because I seem to desire a closer walk with thee

4. Fourthly, I Encounter the Constance of Prevention

A. Something prevents me from Doubting

B. Something Prevents from Sinning

C. The Preventer is the Holy Ghost that has changed by will to not sin

5. Fifthly, I Encounter that which destroys the works of Satan

The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. vs. 8

A. I to have become a destroyer of Satan work

B. I should love the brethren because I have encountered the love of God

C. I am not like Cain who murdered his brother vs. 12

D. I am not bent towards sin because I have passed from death unto life vs. 14

E. Christ laid his life down for me can I lay my life down for a soul.

6. Why I know I have encountered the Christ

A. I know because Jesus laid down his life I should lay my pride aside for another

: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.

B. I know because I seem compelled to love with action and truth .

17If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him?

18Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth

C. I know because I really Believe God is greater than

20whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.

D. I know because I believe in him.

23And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us

E. I know because I feel that the spirit in me leads me to obedience .

24Those who obey his commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us:

We know it by the Spirit he gave us.
