VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. We call upon GOD

"I cry out to God Most High"

Joel 1:14 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

Announce a time of fasting; call the people together for a solemn meeting. Bring the leaders and all the people of the land into the Temple of the Lord your God, and cry out to him there.

Psalms 140:6 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

I said to the Lord, “You are my God!” Listen, O Lord, to my cries for mercy!

Hebrews 4:16 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

1. We come to GOD and approach His Throne of Grace, not the other way around. We keep on saying if GOD really loves me, He'll do this or that, He already done it before the foundation of the world. All we have to do is come to Him to receive. The requester comes, the Giver waits. It's not the other way around. If we acknowledge GOD is our Savior, we come to Him after you hear the WORD of GOD, come to Him. Be humble and come to Him. If it gonna take you to eat all your pride, remove it, GOD gives grace to the humble but He resists the proud.

Proverbs 3:34 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

The Lord mocks the mockers but is gracious to the humble.

James 4:6 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

But he gives us even more grace to stand against such evil desires. As the Scriptures say, “God opposes the proud but favors the humble.”

1 Peter 5:5 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

In the same way, you younger men must accept the authority of the elders. And all of you, serve each other in humility, for “God opposes the proud but favors the humble.”

B. The GOD in Heaven

"to God Most High, to God"

ALL the GLORY belongs to GOD alone, don't touch the glory for yourself unless you die. GOD did it. Thru His Grace, I am what I am. Thru GOD, I can do all things. At the end of the day, GOD receives all the glory, honor and credit due His Name. Start acting like Apostle Paul.

Job 42:2 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

“I know that you can do anything, and no one can stop you.

2 Corinthians 12:9 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.

Philippians 4:13 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.

1 Corinthians 15:10 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favor on me—and not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God who was working through me by his grace.

1 Corinthians 15:10 (New International Version)

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.

Ephesians 2:8 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.

1 Corinthians 15:10 (Amplified Bible)

But by the GRACE (the unmerited favor and blessing) of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not [found to be] for nothing (fruitless and without effect). In fact, I worked harder than all of them [the apostles], though it was not really I, but the grace (the unmerited favor and blessing) of God which was with me.

C. The GOD who gives us our needs.

"to God who will fulfill his purpose for me."

He performs everything for me. It's not based on our effort or good will but based on GOD. It's not about us, but ALL about GOD. Stop glorifying or crediting ourselves, it's not us, it's a gift, actually all of us are underserving of these gift and yet GOD, in His Grace and Love have given them to us. We are recipients, we are creatures, GOD alone is the Creator and Giver of gifts, stop exchanging ourselves with GOD.

Psalms 57:2 (King James Version)

I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.

GOD is the Performer not us, we are only recipients, the Gift was defined by the Giver, the Giver, who is GOD alone, is perfect, therefore the GIFT (which is our LORD JESUS CHRIST) is Perfect as well. The Giver who is GOD, the Father is complete and Infinite, therefore, the Gift like the Giver, is also complete and Infinite.

Stop saying that " I'm a self-made man ", GOD made us successful and it's not based on our abilities or inabilities to do things, it's because of His Grace, we are what we are. You are not successful because you are a graduate of this or that, you are not successful because you are a bachelor of this or that, you are not successful because you are master of this or that, or a doctor of this or that, or have a degree in this or that, but you are successful because GOD made you successful. Stop saying " My way " and start saying " GOD's way " or "I'm successful because GOD made me, and I'm still undone, GOD is not yet finished in/with me" "I'm a masterpiece in the making and my Creator/Maestro is GOD" It's ALL GRACE, not my works. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

1. Perform came from the Hebrew word:"gamar" meaning to end, cease, come to an end, perfect and perform.

"all things" GOD has perfected or performed ALL things, not leaving anything to us, or else it will fail, man fails, but GOD never fails, it's His very nature to not fail because He's Perfect and ALL He does is Perfect as well.

GOD made sure that what He does will be perfect thru us, that's why He never left anything on our part to do, what we only need to do is believe in the Finished Work of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, it's already done, what's our part? only Believe.

Psalms 138:8 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

The Lord will work out his plans for my life— for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for you made me.

Isaiah 26:12 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

Lord, you will grant us peace; all we have accomplished is really from you.

Philippians 1:6 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

Philippians 2:12 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

Dear friends, you always followed my instructions when I was with you. And now that I am away, it is even more important. Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear.

Hebrews 13:21 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen.

IX. CONCLUSION:

GOD already done ALL things for us, Just Thank and Love Him, these are the things the recipient does.
