While GOD wanted to become MAN.

Jesus became what we were so we could become what He is.

He emphasized His Humanity: “Son of Man”.

By way of a virgin maid, By way of death on a cross.

By way of the grave, paying the ultimate cost.

Revelation 1:18 “I [am] he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.”

We think of Love as an abstract thought of emotion; how someone feels toward another.

Jesus was a Hebrew and Hebrews didn’t define Love as an abstract.

The Hebrew word ahav [H:157] goes much deeper than simple emotion.

Ahav means “a gift” and “to provide”.

We do not choose our parents… They are a gift from above.

We do not choose our brothers and sisters… They are a gift from above.

We do not choose our children… They are a gift from above.

The Hebrews didn’t pick their spouses they were gifted to them by their parents.

A Hebraic concept of Love is one in which you provide for and protect that which you were gifted with from above not in an emotional sense, but in the sense of your actions.

John 10:27- “27- My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28- And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand. 29- My Father, which gave [them] me, is greater than all; and no [man] is able to pluck [them] out of my Father's hand. 30- I and [my] Father are one.”

John 15:12-13 “12- This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. 13- Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
