Characteristics of Revival People

Are you spiritually dead or alive? We want to have people are fired up by the Spirit of God.

Bible speaks of: the fullness of the earth, the fullness of joy, the fullness of God’s house, the fullness of the sea, the fullness of wickedness, the fullness of the church.

There is the fullness of the things as it relates to Christ and there is also the fullness in terms of wickedness. The Bible tells us that in the last days those who are righteous will grow into the fullness of Christ. In other words, they will embody his fullness, holiness, power and anointing.

But there will be those that are so evil they will embody the fullness of wickedness within them. The Bible says in the last days the righteous will become more righteous and the wicked will become wicked.

The Bible speaks of the fullness of the earth, and the fullness joy. I don't believe that we have entered the fullness of joy and the fullness of God's blessing until we have entered the fullness of Christ.

There is a fullness that the church is going to experience before Jesus comes. I am excited because I believe that this the generation that will experience God’s fullness.

Something is about to break out upon the earth and you are going to be part of God's great plan.

The Bible also speaks about the fullness of God's house. I believe the church is going to enter into its fullness. What we see in the church is not the fullness of God's house. The Bible says that the latter temple will be greater than the former temple. We are going to see the kind of church that is going to have fire and will manifest the fullness and stature of Christ.

Ephesian 1:10 - That in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth-in Him.

There is no more time left. Do not play around with your walk with God and take risks because the fullness of time is upon us. There is no more time to waste fooling around and taking our Christianity lightly.

Daniel 8:22 - As for the broken horn and the four that stood up in its place, four kingdoms shall arise out of that nation, but not with its power. "And in the latter time of their kingdom, When the transgressors have reached their fullness, A king shall arise, Having fierce features, Who understands sinister schemes. His power shall be mighty…

In the last days the transgressors will have reached their fullness. We are seeing wickedness come upon the face of the earth and it is now at a point where they are so wicked that God has to intervene in man's business. There is so much wickedness evident in the world today.

Wickedness comes out of weak leadership and the political leadership in the world today are weak. They cannot even balance their budgets, let alone lead the nations to prosperity and safety.

Jesus is the Prince of peace. He is the only one you can put your faith in. We cannot place our faith in men and women anymore because the spirit of wickedness has come upon the earth and it is coming into its fullness.

But the things of God will also come to fullness. God’s people will reach perfection, unity, and fullness.

We are faced with an enormous choice. Either we are going to get on fire for God and place our faith in God or we are going to put our trust in the systems of the world.

The Bible says that the righteous will become more righteous. How can we become more righteous? Only when we say “yes” to the things of God and “no” to the things of the devil.

I pray for a generation that will be full with the fullness of Christ in these last days. The fullness of Christ means being filled with God’s Spirit, power, and anointing. It means embracing Jesus, the source of our success and our blessings.

The oil of the Holy Spirit flows from the head who is Jesus. It flows onto His body so that it may come into perfection and in the image of Christ. In the last days God will pour out His Spirit in a new way and it will fall on all flesh.

This generation will be the generation that will run with the fire of God and manifest everything that Jesus is. This is the generation that will stand up against wickedness in the earth. When wickedness encounters Christ’s fullness in believers, it will have to flee.

Ephesians 4:13 - Till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ

God is about to raise up a revival generation. The Bible has many examples of such people that did mighty things for God.

1. Abel - Shows us how to honor God with our giving

Abel was the second generation after Adam. Abel was totally different from his brother Cain. Abel was birthed out of wickedness, disobedience, and failure. He did not have a great testimony about where he came from.

Adam and Eve failed in their walk with God and Cain and Abel had to face this legacy. However, Abel decided he was not going to follow anyone else but God.

The Bible says that he took the first fruit of all that he had and gave it to God. He was different from his brother. Two brothers from the same womb but with two different attitudes. One wicked and the other righteous. Why? Because one chooses to be on fire for God and the other chooses to follow his own way.

That is why we do not have an excuse about where we come from. It’s all about the choices we make.

Abel decided to be different and he was different.

2. Enoch - Shows us to walk with God

Enoch’s life was consumed by walking with God. He gave God everything and God took him to heaven.

3. Noah – Shows us how to gain God’s favor

Noah was the only voice in a wicked world. The Bible tells us that the last days will be like the days of Noah, where wickedness is everywhere.

Noah had to make a choice to either go with the crowd or to follow God. God saved only Noah's family and everyone else were cut off from the face of the earth.

Who are you following? Don't follow people that don't love God. Follow the voice of God even if it is out of step with everyone else.

4. Abraham - Shows us how to tithe, to be righteous, and live by faith

Abraham honored God and God blessed him with material wealth. Abraham had faith in God and God gave him the earth as well as future generations of believers who can live a full life like him.

5. Jacob - Shows us how to rely on God’s strength because we are weak

Jacob did everything wrong and was always in trouble. God favored Jacob above his brother Esau because Jacob respected what he had and confessed his weaknesses to the Lord.

We need to be open and honest about our weaknesses and ask God to help us.

Jacob wrestled with God as he wrestled with his issues and God helped him.

6. Moses - Shows us that God honors humility

God resists proud people because it implies that they can do things in their own strength and therefore do not need God.

Moses was given a great Kingdom assignment and he recognized that he could not fulfill it without God’s help.

7. Joshua - Shows us how to be a doer of God’s Word

We can quote a lot of Scripture but God is not impressed by how well we know the Bible. He is only impressed by how well we do the Bible. He wants us to be doers of the Word.

8. David - Shows us how to worship God

God loved David because he was driven by a desire to praise and worship God. Through this God showed David a dispensation of graces thousands of years before Jesus died on the cross.

9. Solomon - Shows us to choose the correct priorities

Solomon had a choice. God gave him the opportunity to choose anything.

Solomon chose God’s wisdom. When we have a desire for spiritual gifts, God blesses us with finances, position, and favor.

10. Elijah - Shows us the power of words

When Elijah spoke by the power of God’s anointing things happened. He operated in the fullness of Christ.

God has given us a mouth that can create our world and our future with words.

11. Elisha - Shows us the power of the supernatural

God has called us to perform supernatural miracles just like Jesus did and when we come into Christ’s fullness, we will do the works He did and even greater works!

12. Nehemiah - Shows us the power of compassion

When we function in the fullness of Christ we will have compassion for those who are going to hell. Jesus looked at Jerusalem and wept. When we have compassion for other people and we see they are going to hell something needs to stir inside of us.

13. Daniel - Shows us to have a passion for our nation

Even though Daniel was captured and taken out of his land he never ever stopped loving his nation.

Many of God’s people have had to flee their country because of war and strife. But never stop praying for your nation.

Daniel never went back to his nation but he never stopped praying for his nation. Never forget your roots if you want God to use you in these last days.

14. Jesus – Shows us the fullness of God in his power, authority, love, rule, and creation

Jesus is the yard stick and measure of where we should be going.

To the filled with the fullness of Christ we need to be filled with his Spirit.

A revivalist in the USA once said in a sermon - “If all the sleeping folks will wake up, all lukewarm people will fire up, all the dishonest folks will confess up, all the disgruntled folks would cheer up, all the depressed folks would look up, all the estranged folks would make up, all the gossiping folks would shut up and all the dry bones would shake up, then we can have revival.”
