Summary: In chapter 4 of Revelation, we enter into the presence of God, standing at the Throne of God. We see the greatness of four living creatures that begin a song of praise that everyone partakes of, “Thou Art Worthy, O Lord.”

1. He is Worthy, Because of Who He is

a) He is The Son

Matthew 3:17 says; And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

b) He is The Savior

John 3:17 says; For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

c) He is The Supplier

Philippians 4:19 says; But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

2. He is Worthy, Because of What He did

a) He was Devoted, in His Walk

1 Peter 2:21-22 says; For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

Hebrews 4:15 says; For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

b) He was a Deliverer, to the Weary

Matthew 11:28 says; Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

c) He Died, for the Wayward

Mark 2:16 -17 says; And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eat with publicans and sinners, they said unto his disciples, How is it that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners? When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole

have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Titus 2:14 says; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

1 Peter 1:3-5 says; Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

3. He is Worthy, Because of Where He is

He is Seated

Hebrews 1:3 says; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself

purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

Hebrews 7:25 says; Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

What about me? Am I worthy?

Satan continually tells you that you are not worthy. However, John 10:1-10 tells us; The thief (Satan) cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

"You Are Worthy"

Every Christian should realize that they are Worthy because of the facts found in God's Word.

I am Worthy to Pray, because I've been cleansed by the blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

a) When we mess up he is there waiting for us to call upon him.

Psalms 86:5 says; For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

b) The Lord desires to help you

Psalms 37:4-5 says; Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

c) Pray My Friends

Ephesians 6:18 says; Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

d) Proclaim His Word

2 Timothy 4:2 says; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

e) Be a Witness

Romans 16:25 says; Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

Colossians 1:27 says; To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
