“God’s Plan for Women”

1. Teach Life’s Lessons to those around you!

a. 2 Timothy 2:15 – Be diligent, Learn

b. 1 Timothy 2:9-10 – Profess religion & godliness

2. Give Love to those who need you!

a. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a – Unconditional love as Christ gave us

b. Matthew 25:31-40 – Serving & Sacrificing for others

3. Lead those who are wandering!

a. 1 Peter 3:1-6 – Leading to Christ by example

b. Matthew 28:18-20 – Obey the great commission

So many today don’t understand the roles God has ordained for men and for women! These roles are different, but men’s role isn’t to lord over the women. But to love them and respect them.

4. Yes the scriptures teach:

a. 1 Corinthians 11:1-3 – the head of woman is man

b. 1 Timothy 2:8-15 – (vs. 12) – Not to usurp authority of man

c. Titus 2:3-5 – be obedient to husbands

5. So it wouldn’t do for a woman to lead in public worship in any way!

a. She would violate the scriptures

b. “Simply because women appear qualified to be a functional

leader in the church, does not mean that she is either

permitted to fill that role or that she is playing to her natural

strength in doing so.” Lagard Smith

c. A Woman of God will honor God’s order. (1 Corinthians 11:1-3)

6. What women can and should do for the Lord is fulfill their

God-given role!

a. Study the Bible and be scholars.

b. Be wonderful wives, mothers, daughters, teachers, Christians.

c. Teach woman who are younger.

d. Evangelize.

e. Pray.

f. Get involved in the community.

g. Make the church a warm and friendly place to be.

h. Be hospitable.

i. Be available for peer counseling.

j. Minister to other’s needs.

k. Be a servant in some capacity.

l. Be an active part of the worship.

God’s plan for women isn’t less important, it’s just different, we must all decide to follow God’s word. His way is best and will always lead us to the glorious end, an eternal home in the heavens with our Savior and our King!
