Mother:

The Hebrew word for mother is [E-yM]; spelled: Aleph Mem.

In the ancient Hebrew pictographic script, this word was written as:

Ox head (Aleph), Water (Mem).

The Ox head means strength; flowing water, i.e. denotes action.

When combined: it is "strong water." And “strong water” = Glue.

Therefore the mother is one who “binds” the family together.

Let’s briefly consider 8 Blessed Mothers in the Bible:

Eve: "Mother of All the Living."

Sarah: The mother of the nation of Israel.

Rebekah: God opened her womb and she conceived.

Jochebed: The mother of Moses, showed tremendous faith in God.

Hannah: She never gave up on God.

Bathsheba: One of only five women listed in Messiah's ancestry.

Elizabeth: She dedicated her son to God.

Mary: “highly favored by God”.

Genesis 3:15 “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”

The “seed of the woman” - not the seed of man:

Can only agree with one: the Messiah;

For he was born of a virgin: Isaiah 7:14 "Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel".

This was fulfilled in Jesus, who was truly the “seed of the woman”. He was conceived in the womb of the virgin by the power of the overshadowing of the Holy Spirit.

The Messiah, bruised the serpent’s head (destroy satan and the work of spiritual death).

Psalm 110:6 "He shall wound the heads over many countries…"

Habakkuk 3:13 "You went out for the salvation of your people, for the salvation of your anointed. You crushed the head of the house of the wicked, laying him bare from thigh to neck."

Jesus, Messiah crushed the enemy on Golgotha’s hill where his heel was bruised.

In the Garden of Eden it was: Satan-woman-man-God;

That’s out of proper Biblical order

It should have been: God-man-woman-Satan.

Keep it right and thereby, keep right.

Paul addresses this:

I Timothy 2:13-15 “13- For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14- And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 14- Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.”

Save by Childbearing… what does that meant?

Paul clarifies it:

I Timothy 5:14–15: “14- So I would have younger widows marry, bear children, manage their households, and give the adversary no occasion for slander. 15- For some have already strayed after Satan.” -NIV

Hence “childbearing” is part-and-parcel of a woman’s role.

God-man-woman-Satan.

Keep it right and thereby, keep right.

We are all Saved By Childbearing!

For “Mary had a little lame and its fleece was white as snow.”

John 1:29, 36 “29- … John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. 36- Behold the Lamb of God!”

Jesus was the Lamb for sinners slain.

Leviticus 4:24 “And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the LORD: it is a sin offering.”

Leviticus 16:21-22 “21- And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness: 22 -And the goat shall bear [“nasa”, H05375] upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness. ”

Isaiah 53:4, “Surely he hath borne[“nasa”, H05375] our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.”

…this is a prophecy of Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 53:6 “All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned every one to his own way, and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.”

…It is Christ who has our iniquities laid, placed, put upon Him.

Leviticus 16:10 “But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness.”

Scapegoat: Psalms 103:12 “As far as the east is from the west, [so] far hath he removed our transgressions from us.” This is speaking of “the LORD,” as can be seen in verse 1 and 2.

Then verse 3 still speaking of the Christ: “Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases:” The Hebrew words translated “transgressions” and “iniquities” here are the same words used in Leviticus chapter 16.

Both goats in Leviticus 16 picture Jesus Christ for us.

He shed His blood so that we could be atoned for our transgressions. Hebrews 9:22 “without shedding of blood is no remission.”

Hebrews 9:28 “So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many,...”

Hebrews 10:4 “For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.”

Therefore it was the Christ that “bore our sins” and it was the Christ that “took our sins away.”

Just as the Scapegoat did; Jesus took upon Himself our sins and iniquities and took them away, removed them far from us!

Jesus was Mary’s little lamb the Passover Lamb slain that His precious blood could be applied to the door post and headers of our hearts.

I Peter 1:18-20 “18- Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19- But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20- Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,”

Revelation 5:6 John said, “And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain...”

Revelation 5:8 “And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.”

Revelation 5:12 “Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.”
