F. Keywords: CHRIST - the Head of all

Colossians 2:10 (Amplified Bible)

And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power].

G. Key verses:

Colossians 2:9-10 (Amplified Bible)

For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature].

And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power].

VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. Encouraged in heart

"[For my concern is] that their hearts may be braced (comforted, cheered, and encouraged)"

Isaiah 40:1 (Amplified Bible)

COMFORT, COMFORT My people, says your God.

Romans 15:5 (Amplified Bible)

Now may the God Who gives the power of patient endurance (steadfastness) and Who supplies encouragement, grant you to live in such mutual harmony and such full sympathy with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus,

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (Amplified Bible)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of sympathy (pity and mercy) and the God [Who is the Source] of every comfort (consolation and encouragement),

Who comforts (consoles and encourages) us in every trouble (calamity and affliction), so that we may also be able to comfort (console and encourage) those who are in any kind of trouble or distress, with the comfort (consolation and encouragement) with which we ourselves are comforted (consoled and encouraged) by God.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 (Amplified Bible)

Therefore encourage (admonish, exhort) one another and edify (strengthen and build up) one another, just as you are doing.

1. Our GOD is a GOD of comfort, He can't help but comfort us.

1 Thessalonians 4:18 (Amplified Bible)

Therefore comfort and encourage one another with these words.

Definitely, like FATHER, like son, we are to encourage and comfort one another. Check our words, these words must be words of comfort and not of negativeness or curse words.

B. United in love

"as they are knit together in love,"

1 Peter 1:22 (Amplified Bible)

Since by your obedience to the Truth through the [Holy ] Spirit you have purified your hearts for the sincere affection of the brethren, [see that you] love one another fervently from a pure heart.

1 Thessalonians 3:12 (Amplified Bible)

And may the Lord make you to increase and excel and overflow in love for one another and for all people, just as we also do for you,

Hebrews 13:1 (Amplified Bible)

LET LOVE for your fellow believers continue and be a fixed practice with you [never let it fail].

Romans 12:9 (Amplified Bible)

[Let your] love be sincere (a real thing); hate what is evil [loathe all ungodliness, turn in horror from wickedness], but hold fast to that which is good.

John 13:35 (Amplified Bible)

By this shall all [men] know that you are My disciples, if you love one another [if you keep on showing love among yourselves].

1. We are distincted and differentiated from other "human" organization by love, that's GOD-kind of love that is used here, not brotherly love, since we all know that brotherly love fails and is not perfect, but we need perfect love to love one another to the fullest as GOD have loved us. It's just a response of the heart, it's very awkward to know if GOD divinely loved us we can't respond as we brotherly loved Him? It should be the correct response is Divine Love.

C. Full riches of complete understanding

"that they may come to have all the abounding wealth and blessings of assured conviction of understanding,"

1. Our GOD is a GOD of mystery. It is clearly shown in His dealings with us.

a. Redemption is a mystery of GOD

Romans 16:25 (Amplified Bible)

Now to Him Who is able to strengthen you in the faith which is in accordance with my Gospel and the preaching of (concerning) Jesus Christ (the Messiah), according to the revelation (the unveiling) of the mystery of the plan of redemption which was kept in silence and secret for long ages,

b. Crucifixion is a mystery of GOD

1 Corinthians 2:7-8 (Amplified Bible)

But rather what we are setting forth is a wisdom of God once hidden [from the human understanding] and now revealed to us by God—[that wisdom] which God devised and decreed before the ages for our glorification [to lift us into the glory of His presence].

None of the rulers of this age or world perceived and recognized and understood this, for if they had, they would never have crucified the Lord of glory.

c. GOD's Will is a mystery

Ephesians 1:9-10 (Amplified Bible)

Making known to us the mystery (secret) of His will (of His plan, of His purpose). [And it is this:] In accordance with His good pleasure (His merciful intention) which He had previously purposed and set forth in Him,

[He planned] for the maturity of the times and the climax of the ages to unify all things and head them up and consummate them in Christ, [both] things in heaven and things on the earth.

d. CHRIST is a mystery: His humanity, death, resurrection, ascension, all a mystery

1 Timothy 3:16 (Amplified Bible)

And great and important and weighty, we confess, is the hidden truth (the mystic secret) of godliness. He [God] was made visible in human flesh, justified and vindicated in the [Holy] Spirit, was seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, [and] taken up in glory.

IX. CONCLUSION:

We need to be encouraged in heart, united in love, and with full understanding to at least grasp GOD's Mystery, that is CHRIST.
