Summary: Many times we go through life and stuff happens and we wonder, what's going on. In this series will see how it's not God that brings the problems but the enemy and how God gets us through it.

WHAT’S UP GOD! Part 2

Give blame, where blame belongs

Galatians 6:7-9 (NKJV) Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

Galatians 6:9 (Message) So let's not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don't give up, or quit.

As we saw last week, that as we go through life, we all seem to come to those WHAT’S UP GOD moments.

Time’s where it seems like our prayers don't get answers. Time’s when it seem That God is nowhere to be found. Are you there God? Do you see what I’m going through and what’s happening here?

It seems like during those times that our faith is really tested.

Sometimes we even think, is there really a God. Does he listen to little old me. And we want to scream out WHAT’S UP GOD!

We looked at King Hezekiah, that even as a good king that brought great religious reform to Judah, he got hit with a sickness and was going to die.

But we saw that as he turned to God, God was there and ready to heal him.

And it's the same with us. We need to not get caught up in Whats up God moments, thinking that God has some mysterious plan in this happening, but know who our enemy really is and fight him, through Christ.

1 Peter 5:8-9 (NKJV) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.

What the devil would like to do is to get people not to believe that there is a devil, but I want to tell you that there is and he's looking for those who will take his bait.

1 Peter 5:8 (AMP) Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [ in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour.

James 4:7 (NKJV) Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

It is so important to know who your enemy is so we don't get hurt with friendly fire.

Revelation 12:9-12 (NKJV) So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”

Ephesians 6:11-14 (NKJV) Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

Many people that have had sickness or things of life come against them have made statements like, "WHAT UP GOD" Just like King Hezekiah. But Jesus answered this question so powerfully for us.

Luke 13:10-17 (NKJV) Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. 11 And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. 12 But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “ Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.” 13 And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

14 But the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath; and he said to the crowd, “There are six days on which men ought to work; therefore come and be healed on them, and not on the Sabbath day.”

15 The Lord then answered him and said, “ Hypocrite! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it?

16 So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound—think of it—for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?” 17 And when He said these things, all His adversaries were put to shame; and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him.

Imagine never being able to see the sky or rainbows, but only the dust of the earth and the grubby feet of people—what a painful existence she lived!

And these religious folks only thought about rules. The law. Well Jesus came to set things in order and set this women free. He came to show us that God cares about everyone of us. When people are saying WHAT'S UP GOD! We should really be seeing who the enemy really is, and it ain't God.

(John 1:17 NKJV) For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Acts 10:38 (NKJV) how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Our Loving Father has taken a bad rap. Jesus showed us the heart of the Father. He is the fullness of God in flesh.

(Colossians 2:9-10 NKJV) For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power

The French Common Language Translation translates this verse "For everything that God is has become embodied in Christ, to be completely present in him."

God is Love. 1 John 4:7-8

(John 14:7-9 NKJV) “ If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”

8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.”

9 Jesus said to him, “ Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’

Even when John the Baptist was starting to say, hey WHAT'S UP GOD! Jesus points right to Gods goodness.

Matthew 11:2-5 (NKJV) And when John had heard in prison about the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples 3 and said to Him, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?”

4 Jesus answered and said to them, “ Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: 5 The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

Matthew 8:16-17 (NKJV) When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon- possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, 17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.”

So today, lets not blame God for the hurts in our world, but lets fight the adversary and defeat his plan on earth, so we can truly pray.

Matthew 6:10 (NKJV) Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
