Babylon the great!
Revelation 18:2”And he called out with a mighty voice, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place for demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable beast.”
Every system that is lawless, corrupt, ungodly and wicked symbolizes Babylon! Money, power and fame are bedeviling the world today! Take a look around and we would know who rules the society today! Work on Sunday, sleep on Monday is the rule of the devil! Mark the words ‘Babylon the great!’ It might look ‘GREAT’ right now but its downfall would not only be great but also sudden and catastrophic! Beware! I am talking about Biblical prophecy found in the book of Revelation chapter eighteen. This message comes with a caveat for those of you who are bewitched by the world system and its glamour, please repent and turn to God and His ways!
We call this the computer era! Good. But on the flip side, this computer explosion and its vast business development has in parallel birthed lots of divorces, suicides, depression, broken marriages, frustration, mental health, illness, unhappiness and what not…. A teenager in China's Anhui province has sold his right kidney to buy an iPad 2. His mother, who knew nothing of his plans, now hopes to hunt down the criminals who disabled him, a media report said. Seventeen-year-old Xiao Zheng had been dreaming of a new iPad 2 for a while, but the price was beyond his means. Zheng found an agent ready to buy his kidney and travelled to Hunan province in central China to undergo surgery in a local hospital. With the 22,000 yen ($3,900) he was paid, Zheng bought a new iPad 2 and iPhone and then returned home, according to a report on the Dongfang TV channel.
Let me further expound to you about this Babylon system, because we live in it! Too fascinated with its multi-splendoured beauty and numbers, we have forgotten to remember God. I am talking about crores and crores that are invested in the making of movies – BIG BANNER MOVIE is what they call it. Babylon the great! The aggressive promotion, media hype that goes with it is tremendous – drawing people in heaps to the net of deception, hallucination and downfall. Every partaker of this production are agents of this Babylon system: actors, producers, directors and musicians. I’m sorry to say there are many children of pastors and preachers who are connected with the movie world, which is satanic. You can shoot me for saying this- but this is the truth! The Bible clearly warns us: "Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues..” (Revelation 18:4)
Any system that takes you from the ‘House of God’ on Sunday is from this Babylon system, stay away! I warn stay away! There are many out there allured to this ‘Babylon system’, we have a clear warning from God that it would fall suddenly, read : "Alas! Alas! You great city, you mighty city, Babylon! For in a single hour your judgment has come."(Revelation 18:10)
