Dens and caves!
Judges 6:2”And the hand of Midian overpowered Israel, and because of Midian the people of Israel made for themselves the dens that are in the mountains and the caves and the strongholds.”
God wanted His people to be conquerors and warriors but today contrary to the promise of God, we see many who are conquered, crushed, beaten and routed! The reason is simple, the Lord said in verse 10, ‘you have not obeyed my voice’.
I am speaking to someone out there today! Chapter six of the book of Judges talks about the people of God being oppressed, attacked and their crops and cattle destroyed by the Midianites. The Israelites were living in dens, caves and strongholds because they were terrorized by the Midianites. The words dens and caves set me thinking! Dens and caves tantamount to divorces, debts, failures, suicides, broken homes, sickness, mental illness and much more that we find today in Christian homes! Let us pause and think!
I was called to pray for a Christian girl who got violent in the night and was demon possessed, when I enquired I was told that she got married to a hindu. She was now suffering inside the den and cave! Are you listening? Punishment and curses follow disobedience! Being united with idol worshipers is an abomination to the Lord, please read the Word of God that clearly instructs us to never marry a non-believer:
• Deuteronomy 7:3 “You shall not intermarry with them, giving your daughters to their sons or taking their daughters for your sons,
• 4 for they would turn away your sons from following me, to serve other gods. Then the anger of the LORD would be kindled against you, and he would destroy you quickly.”

Christian ministry circle are no exceptions , be it keyboard or church related items, every purchase has to be rooted in integrity and proper bill has to be taken. Let your life be transparent! Amend your life, ministry, business and job in line with the Word of the Lord if you need the abundant, efficacious, prosperous, victorious life promised by God!
Walk out of the dens and caves and embrace the everlasting arms of God that would never ever fail you!
