Good God! –Promise Word for the month!
Jeremiah 32:41”I will rejoice in doing them good, and I will plant them in this land in faithfulness, with all my heart and all my soul.”
Here we have a wonderful promise from God: “God will rejoice in doing something good for you!” Amen. Dear friend, we must believe the promises of God, it should not remain as just letters in the Bible but it should spring up true in our lives! Remember there is life in His Word!
I love the faith-filled words of Moses when he tells his father-in-law “…for the Lord has promised good thing to Israel”. I appreciate his positive confession much before even seeing the promised land.! That’s faith! He trusts God’s promise that He would do ‘good things’ for His children. How about you? As you scroll down, again in verse 32 Moses confesses, “….whatever good the Lord will do to us, the same we will do to you.” (Numbers 10:29-32)
Our God is a faithful God and He would never fail. He promised His people who were brought out from Egypt that He would take them to the promised land and give them rest and good things. He did just that after Joshua takes the people of Israel into the promised land. The people around feared them, no one dared to go near them and God gave them rest and all good things which was promised was granted to them. (Joshua 21:44-45) What a mighty God we serve!
The promise of God: (Mark 11:24)”Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” These words created an explosion on the inside of me, while I was five months pregnant, with severe problems in the uterus and advised by several doctors to remove my uterus along with the baby. The above scripture brought life in me! Read it again, the words of Jesus brought life to my dead uterus. I refused to remove and abort my baby instead I bought new clothes for the baby yet to be born ( and declared to be removed by the doctors) prepared my bag to be taken to the hospital and got ready for the delivery. Hilarious ? Sometimes you got to be crazy for God! The world would never ever understand your faith. The result was that God blessed my faith and gave me my miracle boy Joshua, He promises to do good for His people! Cheers!
God is good all the time! Fear not! Rest in His arms! No matter what the situation, trust in His word to give you good things. He would do it! May be you are single and waiting for a partner, may be you are waiting for a good job, good business deal, may be you are anxiously wanting to have a baby - it would surely come through. Trust Him who never fails!
