Air Cooler!
Daniel 2:21”He changes times and seasons..”
We were conducting three days training camp in the peak of summer in Hyderabad, hence I suggested to my husband that we should at least have a couple of air coolers though not air conditioners to keep the hall cool. We were intensely praying for the needs but nothing happened till the last moment and we just left the issue to God. I had to stay in the campsite and supervise the entire activities besides preaching in the morning sessions. The room I stayed was stuffy and was also turned into a store room with all the provisions stacked inside for safety purpose. I was sandwiched between them, my daughter who came to see me, wondered how I would manage in that hot, stuffy room! Our God is a God who changes times and seasons! (Daniel 2:21) If you believe, give Him a loud clap offering! Okay. Something phenomenal happened on the very first day of the meeting, we started having little showers during the night that kept the entire day cool! The attendees and delegates did not feel the heat and subsequently all the three days we had rain, but it did not disturb our meetings, instead God kept the place cool through the showers of rain. My daughter walked into my room during the meeting and said: ”your room is soooo cool!” I said, ‘God is my Air cooler, He has kept my room and the meeting Hall cool.’ Hallelujah! He would do the same for you too! Fear not friend!
Are you going through pain and agony? Are you silently suffering unable to tell your pain to anyone? Do not worry, He is our comforter! God is our Air Cooler! Does that sound weird? I mean it! He is our balm and our Healer! Glory to Jesus! An elderly lady came to me for prayers with severe pain in the soles of her feat because of cracks in the skin. She was applying a cooling cream but since it was expensive she was unable to buy them, I prayed for her and asked her to believe and come to church regularly. She did come regularly to church, God did a miracle and removed the burning sensation and made it cool. She smiled and said, ‘God healed me!’ God is our Air Cooler! Is He not? I am speaking soothing words to someone who is hurt and in pain! Receive the words and believe it today friend!
When Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown into the burning fire that was seven times hot; one would wonder how can these three Hebrew boys take such heat that killed seven men who threw them into the fire? But let me again tell you, our God changes times and seasons! Praise Him! He would change dangerous situations into praise sessions! Believe me. He would. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were ready for the worse and never expected God inside the fire! As they were thrown into the fire, they found the great AIR COOLER inside! Yes, God was their Air cooler that kept them cool, cozy and comfortable! When the king saw the miracle, the Bible says, He was astonished and rose up in haste and said: “I see four men unbound, walking in the midst of the fire, and they are not hurt; and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods."(Daniel 3:25)
What is the heat that you are facing today? Be it a tough boss, unmanageable spouse, rebellious kid, plummeting finances, dipping health or blurred future, our Air Cooler and Super God would come and comfort you!
