  Scripture: Hebrews 9:22

Summary: There is no power on this side of Heaven that's comparable to the blood of Jesus. It does for the believer what no other power can do.

Consider the following concerning the Lord's blood:

When Christ shed His blood; He literally shed His life for us.

I. The Blood Cleanses (Heb. 9:22)

II. The Blood Cries (Gen. 4:10)

III. The Blood Convicts (Many prisoners have been convicted by the blood.

IV. The Blood Covers. (Apart from the blood, there is no remission for sin) God covered Adam and Eve with coats of skins) (Christ did more than cover our sins; he made reparations for them resulting in our becoming at-one-ment with God.

V. The Blood Connects. (Christ's blood connects me to Him)

VI. The Blood Certifies. (The blood certifies me as delivered from the hands of death) Jesus is my passover lamb.

VII. The Blood Cancels. Jesus' s blood canceled my death and my debt.

VIII. The Blood Conquers. Rev. 12:11

Conclusion: Thank God for the blood of Jesus.
