3. be eased

4. exercise

2. equity, meet, right

Show our fear of GOD by walking right or in the right way. The way of the LORD is JESUS - John 14:6 Our ways are not the ways of the world but our ways is JESUS Himself.

John 14:6 (Amplified Bible)

14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.

Proverbs 10:29 (Amplified Bible)

10:29 The way of the Lord is strength and a stronghold to the upright, but it is destruction to the workers of iniquity.

Some encouragements from the bible to walk in the way of the LORD:

1. Our ways are a highway that turns aside from evil.

Proverbs 16:17 (Amplified Bible)

16:17 The highway of the upright turns aside from evil; he who guards his way preserves his life.

2. We walk in integrity always better even if you're poor physically but rich in GOD's sight

Proverbs 28:6 (Amplified Bible)

28:6 Better is the poor man who walks in his integrity than he who willfully goes in double and wrong ways, though he is rich.

3. The whole duty of every man on earth: Fear GOD.

Ecclesiastes 12:13 (Amplified Bible)

12:13 All has been heard; the end of the matter is: Fear God [revere and worship Him, knowing that He is] and keep His commandments, for this is the whole of man [the full, original purpose of his creation, the object of God’s providence, the root of character, the foundation of all happiness, the adjustment to all inharmonious circumstances and conditions under the sun] and the whole [duty] for every man.

4. If you're GOD-fearing and obedient, GOD will send someone your way for you to be born again

Acts 10:22 (Amplified Bible)

10:22 And they said, Cornelius, a centurion (captain) who is just and upright and in right standing with God, being God-fearing and obedient and well spoken of by the whole Jewish nation, has been instructed by a holy angel to send for you to come to his house; and he has received in answer [to prayer] a warning to listen to and act upon what you have to say.

5. GOD receives everyone who has reverential fear for GOD

Acts 10:35 (Amplified Bible)

10:35 But in every nation he who venerates and has a reverential fear for God, treating Him with worshipful obedience and living uprightly, is acceptable to Him and sure of being received and welcomed [by Him].

B. Perverse person despises the LORD

"but he who is contrary and devious in his ways despises Him"

Perverse or "luz" in Hebrew means:

1. to turn aside

2. to depart

Ways or "derek" in Hebrew means:

1. a road

2. a course of life or mode of action

Despiseth or "bazah" in Hebrew means:

1. to disesteem

2. think to scorn

3. vile person

4. despise, disdain, contemn

Some characteristics of despisers of GOD:

1. They love everything, everyone except GOD

2 Timothy 3:2-3 (Amplified Bible)

3:2 For people will be lovers of self and [utterly] self-centered, lovers of money and aroused by an inordinate [greedy] desire for wealth, proud and arrogant and contemptuous boasters. They will be abusive (blasphemous, scoffing), disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane.

3:3 [They will be] without natural [human] affection (callous and inhuman), relentless (admitting of no truce or appeasement); [they will be] slanderers (false accusers, troublemakers), intemperate and loose in morals and conduct, uncontrolled and fierce, haters of good.

2. Callous stubbornness, & impenitent in heart

Romans 2:4-5 (Amplified Bible)

2:4 Or are you [so blind as to] trifle with and presume upon and despise and underestimate the wealth of His kindness and forbearance and long-suffering patience? Are you unmindful or actually ignorant [of the fact] that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repent (to change your mind and inner man to accept God’s will)?

2:5 But by your callous stubbornness and impenitence of heart you are storing up wrath and indignation for yourself on the day of wrath and indignation, when God’s righteous judgment (just doom) will be revealed.

3. Covetous, lovers of money and ridicules JESUS Himself

Luke 16:14 (Amplified Bible)

16:14 Now the Pharisees, who were covetous and lovers of money, heard all these things [taken together], and they began to sneer at and ridicule and scoff at Him.

4. They contempt, scorn and scoff at believers

Psalms 123:3-4 (Amplified Bible)

123:3 Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on and loving-kindness for us, for we are exceedingly satiated with contempt.

123:4 Our life is exceedingly filled with the scorning and scoffing of those who are at ease and with the contempt of the proud (irresponsible tyrants who disregard God’s law).

12:4 I am become one who is a laughingstock to his friend; I, one whom God answered when he called upon Him—a just, upright (blameless) man—laughed to scorn!

The humanist formerly called aetheist laughs at person who calls upon GOD. They are fools and the laughingstock themselves.

Laughingstock, laughed to scorn or "sechoq sechoq" means:

1. laughter

Luke 16:14 (Amplified Bible)

16:14 Now the Pharisees, who were covetous and lovers of money, heard all these things [taken together], and they began to sneer at and ridicule and scoff at Him.
