DIVINE HEALTH TRUMPS DIVINE HEALING...

Let us make a covenant to KEEP THE DIVINE LAWS AS BEST WE CAN...
I. UNDER HIS FEET... UNDER CONTROL... A BETTER PLAN...
2 Samuel 22:39 And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not
arise: yea, they are fallen under my feet.
Psalm 8:6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast
put all things under his feet:
Romans 16:20 And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
A. There is a plan that is better than fixing what is broken...
The best plan is to TAKE CARE of things before they are broke...
B. God has made plans for His people.
God knows His peoples' natures and tendencies...
C. HEALING is part of God's plan...
But God has a BETTER PLAN THAN HEALING...
IT IS CALLED DIVINE HEALTH...
Exodus 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and
wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all
his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the
Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
Deuteronomy 7:15 And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none
of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all
them that hate thee.
II. HEALING IS JUST AS MUCH PART OF GOD'S PLAN IS AS SALVATION...
AS THEY KILLED JESUS THERE WAS PART OF THE TREATMENT THAT
PURCHASED OUR HEALING... BY HIS STRIPES...
A. God knows that we humans will get sick from time to time.
B. Even great men in the Bible had seasons of sickness they had to over come.
Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the
chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel
to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives,
and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
C. SICKNESS CAN BE A MAJOR TESTING AREA.
So God provides healing for His people...
Psalm 103:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Psalm 107:20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
III. GOD HAS 12 DIVINE RULES... THEY ARE DIVINE LAWS...
IF YOU BREAK LAWS THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES...
A. WE HAVE LAWS FOR THE COMMON GOOD OF THE PEOPLE...
B. Abiding by the laws will make us better and the group better.
C. THERE OUR SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES TO BREAKING THE LAWS...
D. SELDOM ARE CONSEQUENCES IMMEDIATE...
TOLERANCE OR BUILDING UP, LASTING EFFECTS...
E. THE BREAKING OF THE DIVINE HEALTH LAWS MEANS YOU WILL
PAY THE PRICE...
F. PRAY ALL YOU WANT, YOU WILL HAVE A ROLE TO PLAY IN MAINTAINING
DIVINE HEALTH.
G. You have a responsibility to OBEY THE RULES...
1. THE FIRST DIVINE RULE IS SANITATION / CLEANLINESS...
Leviticus 13:6 And the priest shall look on him again the seventh day: and, behold, if the
plague be somewhat dark, and the plague spread not in the skin, the priest shall
pronounce him clean: it is but a scab: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
Isaiah 1:16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine
eyes; cease to do evil;
Wash your body Wash your clothes
Use clean water Clean food
Keep your house clean
2. DIVINE LAW: STERILIZATION WHEN EXPOSED:
GERM FREE, (Numbers 19:11, Numbers 31:22-23)
Leviticus 11:32 And upon whatsoever any of them, when they are dead, doth fall, it shall be
unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel it
be, wherein any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the even;
so it shall be cleansed.
Leviticus 11:39 And if any beast, of which ye may eat, die; he that toucheth the carcase
thereof shall be unclean until the even. 40 And he that eateth of the carcase of it shall wash
his clothes, and be unclean until the even: he also that beareth the carcase of it shall wash
his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
3. DIVINE LAW: QUARRANTINE: ISOLATE SICKNESS...
A. HAD TO LEAVE THE CAMP (Leviticus 13 & 14)

C. Remember Miriam... 7 DAYS OUT OF THE CAMP
Numbers 5:4 And the children of Israel did so, and put them out without the camp: as the
LORD spake unto Moses, so did the children of Israel.
4. THERE IS A DIVINE LAW MANY OF US DO NOT LIKE:
A GOOD, HEALTHY BALANCED DIET...
A. Some people eat to live...
Others live to eat...
Proverbs 23:2 And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite.
B. JUNK FOOD takes a terrible toll on a society.
C. OVER EATING and OBESITY is the number man made health problem
in the USA.
D. MY HOT DOG THEORY:
I eat a hot dog and I am sick for 3 days?
I beg God to heal me... He says: QUIT EATING HOT DOGS?
Can I have a second opinion?
E. BALANCE DIETS, COOK GOOD...
5. THE LAW OF MODERATION: EXCESSIVENESS IS THE DEVIL'S WORK...
Philippians 4:5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
A. LIMITED INTAKE: SALT SUGAR CHOLESTEROL
B. Excessive will catch up with you...
C. 4 FOOD GROUPS BALANCED: milk, meat, bread-cereal, fruit-vegetables...
6. THE LAW OF EXERCISE AND WORK... HAS BENEFITS...
A. Christians often hide behind a verse:
1 Timothy 4:8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things,
having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
B. PEOPLE LEARN IDLENESS... Couch potato?
1 Timothy 5:13 And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house;
and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.
C. Honest day work for honest wage?
6. DIVINE LAW AND NEED OF REST... REST SPIRIT, SOUL, BODY..
Psalm 37:7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him
who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
Isaiah 28:12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest;
and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall
find rest unto your souls.
7. THE LAW THAT YOUR BODY IS NOT YOUR BODY...
YOUR BODY IS THE TEMPLE OF GOD... TREAT IT WITH RESPECT.
1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God
dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple
of God is holy, which temple ye are.
1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which
is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
8. THERE IS A LAW ABOUT SEXUAL SIN OUR SOCIETY IGNORES...
1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he
that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which
ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit,
which are God's.
9. THE LAW OF A RENEWED MIND... CONTROLED THINKING PATTERNS...
MENTAL VENTILATION
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of
your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest,
whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely,
whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise,
think on these things.
10. THE TENTH LAW IS THE POWER OF THE TONGUE...
Proverbs 13:3 He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his
lips shall have destruction.
Proverbs 15:1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the
fruit thereof.
Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good;
and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the
abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
11. THE LAW OF GOOD ATTITUDES: MERRY HEART... JOY
Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
Nehemiah 8:10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and
send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither
be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
John 15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy
might be full.
CONCLUSION:
Let us make a covenant to KEEP THE DIVINE LAWS AS BEST WE CAN...
