DISAGREEMENT CAN BE DANGEROUS....

Matthew 18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven:
and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
[19] Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they
shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
[20] For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
I. TAKE HEED OF A DISAGREABLE SPIRIT IN THE HOME... DANGER...
ESAU AND JACOB HAD MANY ISSUES... BROTHERS THAT COULD NEVER AGREE...
A. ESAU HAD ATTITUDE PROBLEMS...
B. ESAU'S ATTITUDE PROBLEMS TENDED TO BLAME HIS BROTHER FOR EVERYTHING
HE DID...
Genesis 25:30 And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for
I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.
C. ESAU HAD ISSUES IN HIS HEART... He despised his birthright.
Genesis 25:34 Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and
rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.
D. Esau did things to sow discord...
He wanted to hurt his Mom/Dad...
Genesis 26:34 And Esau was forty years old when he took to wife Judith the daughter of Beeri the
Hittite, and Bashemath the daughter of Elon the Hittite:
[35] Which were a grief of mind unto Isaac and to Rebekah.
E. ESAU WAS A BITTER AND ANGGRY MAN...
Genesis 27:34 And when Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with a great and exceeding bitter
cry, and said unto his father, Bless me, even me also, O my father.
F. THE EDOMITES WERE ESAU'S TRIBE... THEY WERE KNOWN AS MEAN, CRUEL, BITTER,
PEOPLE...
G. REMEMBER THE MEAN AND BITTER DOEG THE EDOMITE?
HE KILLED EVERY ONE THAT CARRIED THE EPHOD BUT ONE GOT AWAY....
H. READ THE READ OF ESAU IN THE NEW TESTAMENT...
Hebrews 12:17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was
rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
I. ESAU COULD NEVER FIND IN HIS HEART A CHANGE...

II. TAKE HEED TO NOT AGREEING WITH THE MESSAGE OF THE PREACHER...

HEADS AND PIGEON OR DOVE'S DUNG... THE PREACHER HAS GOOD NEWS...

A. WILL YOU AGREE WITH THE PREACHER'S WORDS?

C. THERE IS ALWAYS NEGATIVE --- DOOMS DAYERS...

Lord would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it
with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.
D. WITH WHOM WILL YOU AGREE: THE NEGATIVE? THE DELIVERANCE CROWD...
E. WILL YOU DIE HUNGRY WITH PLENTY OF FOOD BEFORE YOU?
2 Kings 7:19 And that lord answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, if the Lord should

III. TAKE HEED: THE SPECTATOR DISAGREEMENT SPIRIT, THAT BREEDS CRITICAL
JUDGMENTS IS DANGEROUS...
THERE ARE THOSE THAT WILL NOT AGREE AND MAKE FUN OF SPIRITUAL ISSUES...
A HUSBAND AND WIFE DISAGREE OVER WORSHIP...
A. WORSHIP SHOULD BE A FAMILY AGREEMENT ISSUE...
2 Samuel 6:14 And David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was girded with a
linen ephod.
B. FOR SOME REASON DAVID'S WIFE DID NOT JOIN IN THE WORSHIP...
C. IF YOU DO NOT WORSHIP --- YOU WILL HAVE A CRITICAL --- JUDGMENTAL SPIIRIT...
2 Samuel 6:16 And as the ark of the Lord came into the city of David, Michal Saul's daughter
looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the Lord; and she
despised him in her heart.
D. DAVID WAS HURT BY THIS JUDGMENTAL SPIRIT...
IF MICHAL HAD BEEN THERE MAYBE SHE WOULD HAVE DANCED BEFORE THE LORD...
2 Samuel 6:20 Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of
Saul came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel today, who
uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain
fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself!
E. DAVID TRIES TO BRING THE HOME IN AGREEMENT AND EXPLAIN HIS HEART...
[21] And David said unto Michal, It was before the Lord, which chose me before thy father,
and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the Lord, over Israel: therefore
will I play before the Lord.
F. DAVID ACKNOWLEDGES WORSHIP IS NOT TO PLEASE PEOPLE,
DAVID REALIZES THERE IS SOMETHING MORE IMPORTANT THAN MAKING HIS WIFE
HAPPY.
[22] And I will yet be more vile than thus, and will be base in mine own sight: and of the
maidservants which thou hast spoken of, of them shall I be had in honour.
G. NEVER FORGGET THERE IS A PRICE TO PAY FOR MOCKING WORSHIP...
[23] Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child unto the day of her death.
H. TAKE HEED, NEVER MOCK ONE SINGING, PRAISING OR WORSHIPPING GOD...
IV. TAKE HEED THAT YOU CAN NOT ALLOW RELIGIOUS DISAGREEMENT TO STOP YOUR
MIRACLE...
A. WE CAN NOT FUSS OVER BEING HUNGRY, AND ALL THERE IS TO EAT IS
SHEW BREAD OF THE PRIEST...
B. WE CAN NOT GET CAUGHT UP IN THE DEBATES OF MEAT, DAYS OF THE WEEK,
SABBOTH DAY ETC...
C. WE CAN SEE THE CRAZINESS OF THIS RELIGIOUS STUPIDITY...
IN ISRAEL THEY ARE NOT ALLOW TO PUSH THE BUTTON ON AN ELEVATOR ON THE
SABBOTH, ....
D. THERE IS A BIBLICAL STORY THAT WARNS US TO TAKE HEED...
Matthew 15:22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto
him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with
a devil.
E. THE LADY REFUSES TO GET ENTANIGLED IN RELIGIOUS ISSUES, SHE HAS A NEED...
Matthew 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of
Israel.
[25] Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
[26] But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
F. MASTER I AGREE I HAVE A GREAT NEED AND YOU CAN HELP...
Matthew 15:27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their
masters' table.
G. As this lady approached Jesus, she could have accepted the negative...
THIS WOMAN FOUND GREAT HOPE AND PEACE KNOWING AT WHOSE FEET SHE KNEEL.
H. THIS MOTHER KNEW SOMETHING ABOUT THE TABLE OF GRACE...
I. SHE KNEW BY FAITH --- JESUS CAN DO THIS... IT IS NOTHING FOR JESUS TO COME
INTO AGREEMENT FOR HER DAUGHTER...
J. The lady never spent time thinking about her GLOOM and DESPAIR...
Her focus was on HOW GREAT JESUS IS...
Matthew 5: [25] Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at
any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and
thou be cast into prison.
