Summary: This is not a sermon but a Prophetic word with a prophetic assignment to the church of Jesus Christ (it won't fit everyone) He that hath ears to hear let him hear.

1sa 22:2 The Vanguard Church Lu 19:13

Eze 37:10

1 Sa 22:2 And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men.

Now this was not the A team of the military, this was a group of angry, disturbed, discontented, distressed, debtors.

You could even say it was a motley crew.

It was a gathering of the worst elements in society.

Don’t get mad it me, but it reminds me of the church, I know we're all dressed up today and looking good and smelling good.

But somewhere in your closet somewhere back down the road back down memory lane, there's some things we wished never happened somewhere back over your shoulder somewhere there's a crack house, somewhere back down memory lane there is a house of ill repute.

Somewhere back down memory lane, you didn't have no friends, you didn't have no peace, you didn't have no money, you didn't have no joy.

But something happened: You came to Jesus with all your problems.

You didn't come to him all cleaned up.

You came bound, you came oppressed, you came high, you came drunk, and you came angry and bitter.

And he took you just like you were, just like David did with these men.

Because he saw something in you, because he saw something in me.

He looked at the worst and he saw the best.

Is anybody glad God saw something in you.

He looked at a bunch of rejects that nobody wanted on their team, and he said I'll put them on my team and I'll turn them into the greatest military fighting force the world has ever seen.

And that's what David did with those four hundred men.

They became an elite army of the highest levels of courage and ability and integrity.

And God said: he's doing the same thing with this body of believers.

He said right here in this place he is building an army. (Yes we are the family of God,) but there's a vast difference between a family and an army.

A family is held together basically by the bonds of blood and love.

An army is held together by commitment and by order by and by vision.

Luke 19:13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.

Jesus is not just speaking to the family of God, he is speaking to the Army of God.

He said occupy till I come

Occupy: Is a military term

This word is not passive (passive means, static or without resistance) immobile.

This word is active: That means it's alive full of force and energy, it is not in the defensive it is in the offensive.

That means in order to fulfill this command one must be forcefully and aggressively moving forward, engaging and overcoming resistance.

Lu 10:19 Behold I give unto you power to tread upon serpents and scorpions (not hold down the fort) and over all the power of the enemy......

He is speaking of a people who are anointed and are aggressively moving forward advancing the kingdom of God.

He is not speaking of everyone in the church: He is speaking specifically of an elite group in the church that are consumed with the kingdom mandate to establish the kingdom of God in the earth and they are treading under their feet anything and everything that opposes the Kingdom mandate.

This elite group of people have chosen to serve on the front line. (They are called the vanguard)

Vanguard Means:

*the troops that march in front of an army

*the first line

*the foremost part of an advancing army

That means: the best trained, the best equipped, and the most qualified.

Note the definition of: An advancing army:

Not of: A Hold the fort army.

Not of: Hold on hang out army

Not of: An all beat up, bruised up dragging in their tracks, head in their hands army.

But the best: The most qualified, the elite, the best trained, the bravest, the boldest, the advancing treading down everything in it's path army of the Lord of Hosts.

Listen: God didn't give us these mighty weapons Just to hold down the fort till Jesus comes.

He gave us "The blood of Jesus, The authority to use his name, the word of God, prayer and fasting, the great and mighty gifts of the HolyGhost.

He didn't give us these weapons of power to us just to sit down somewhere and wait for the rapture bus.

He gave us these weapons of power so we could advance the Kingdom of God in the earth.

God said that right now in this hour when so many churches have become lukewarm, and self seeking and self preserving and self centered: He is raising up a Vanguard Church

Not a place where we hide out from the Devil and pray for Jesus to come and deliver us (but a Military outpost) A place where we are Trained, and Equipped, and Mobilized to take the world for Jesus.

I know this message is not for everyone, it's a little too sharp and too penetrating for a lot of comfortable religious folks, but there is a breed of people that know they were bred for battle, that know God didn't just save you to fly away to heaven but to advance the Kingdom of God in the earth.

We are not just the family of God

We are the Army of God

An army is not just a group of people who love each other.

An army is made up of different ranking officers, each one is specifically trained and equipped to carry the responsibility and the authority of that rank.

The higher the rank, the higher and the greater the responsibility as well as the authority.

As the Army of the Lord we are unified first by our love for God

Second by our love for each other

Third Our love for the lost

We are farther unified and bound together by our commitment to the mission, to the vision. To the great commission.

(To go into all the world and make disciples of all nations, and all men)

A Vanguard church does not just happen: Much like the special forces of our military services, the vanguard church is groomed by God. (She must go through a process)

First God has to break you out of the crowd (separating you from the main stream)

At first this is very difficult because it feels like you're alone and isolated, it feels like you did something wrong and you're being punished

(But push your neighbor and tell them: It's just part of the training)

To be a Vanguard church you have to know that you do not rely on majority consensus for your confirmation of Gods will for your life.

The Vanguard position is a position that requires extreme commitment, extreme loyalty, and extreme passion.

It is a position that is difficult sometimes not so much because of the spiritual warfare but because many times you are misunderstood.

Mainstream religion will label you (radical) (extremist,) or unorthodox or out of control because you don't fit in the traditional box.

It's hard sometimes because the mainstream religious church goers will avoid you, and even criticize you.

The main reason this happens is because true extreme radical devotion and commitment to Christ exposes, luke-warmness, half-heartedness, and indifference in those traditional church goers whose only ambition and goal in life is to go to heaven when they die.

True unbridled love passion and devotion to Christ has always woke up criticism and persecution from the religious crowd.

Remember the woman who broke her alabaster box and poured the entire contents upon Jesus: Immediately she was questioned: Why was this waste of ointment made, it might have been sold for 300. dollars

Who would dare call anointing Jesus a waste? (The answer is: Stingy religious people)

My part for being here today is to stand as a prophetic voice and to declare what I'm hearing God say, and God said he's not looking for a low-flying don't rock the boat don't disturb anybody kind of church.

God is looking for Vanguard church.

And this Vanguard church is going to lead the way in bold passionate aggressive upset the religious self righteous applecart praise and worship.

You are going to lead the way in to outrageous financial streams and floods of money, because you are going to lead the way in sowing outrageous seeds of money.

You are going to lead the way into places where the mainstream religious church won't go, and you are going to bring those hidden treasures out of the darkness into the light.

There is a breakers anointing on this Vanguard Church: I'm speaking about a breakers anointing over the leadership of your church.

Of this church anointed and called and appointed to lead the vanguard of extreme radical Holy Ghost filled devil hating Jesus-loving warriors into battle.

Let's look at this for another minute:

Vanguard also means:

1. A position at the forefront of new developments or ideas.

2. A group of people leading the way in new developments or ideas.

As we move together into extreme radical passionate worship in pursuit of the presence and the glory of God, there will be a supernatural release of the Spirit and anointing of revelation that will begin to materialize in our minds as concepts and ideas.

These concepts and ideas are going to be so revolutionary that they are going to place you immediately in positions of influence and resources.

People will begin to seek you out for your wisdom and knowledge concerning these ideas; and resources will come to you.

The greatest discoveries in this age are not going to be by atheist heathenist scientist, They are going to come to worshipers who have learned how to access the revelatory realm of the glory of God through passionate pursuit and unbridled love and worship for Christ.

I'm talking about the Vanguard church.

I am standing here right now anointed and authorized by God to call you and commission you to your appointed position in the Kingdom

To stand today against this backdrop of carnality and slothfulness, and spiritual indifference and to take your place as the Vanguard Church of The Lord Jesus Christ.

I hasten to tell you: This is not for those who are just looking for a comfortable air conditioned building with padded pews where they can sit and wait for Jesus to come and get them.

This is for people who are passionate for God who know their mission here is to evangelize the world, to bring souls to Christ to make disciples and to advance the Kingdom of God in the earth.

I'm not here by accident today; I am on assignment

I have a word from God

1. God said to tell you that you are not a traditional normal nominal church but God has set you apart, you're different you're not the typical, see what everybody else is doing and do that church.

I know some people won't like this because they're very comfortable and satisfied just to fall in line and walk around in a circle doing what everybody else is doing hearing the same thing saying the same thing, and doing the same thing.

But on this Vanguard church there is a special anointing for breaking through, for breaking down, for breaking in, and breaking out.

I'm not talking about every church, I’m taking about the Vanguard church:

You don't fit the cookie cutter mold of traditional church.

You don’t march to the beat of the same drum

Let me just go ahead and say it: You know who you are

You don't belong; In other words, you don't fit in the safe dry boat.

You belong on the water walking in the supernatural, casting out the Devils, healing the sick and setting the captives free.

I’m talking about the Vanguard Church: You get uncomfortable when things are too predictable, you get uncomfortable when things are too easy, you expect the devil to get nervous when you pray, you expect to be misunderstood sometimes,

I'm closing but I have to say one more thing:

God told me to prophesy to his Vanguard church (these words) I had given you the city.

God told Joshua Josh ch 6 :2 See I have given in to thine hand Jericho and the King thereof and the mighty men of valor.

God said to tell you: (The Vanguard church) I have given you the city.

For the Vanguard church: God's Word is; I have given you the city.

I really don’t want to make anybody mad or hurt anyone’s feelings but this word isn’t milk and cookies and it’s not for everyone.

This word is not to the sleepy, slumbering, comfortable convenient lukewarm indifferent religious Church.

This word is to the Vanguard church.

I believe I'm speaking to a vanguard church right now.

I believe I'm speaking to the Army of God.

I'm proud to be a part of the family of God but I'm also glad that God has called me into his army.

If you’re a part of this Vanguard church and you’re glad to be in the army of God: I want you to get to the front of this house (There is a special anointing coming upon you tonight, right now) God is anointing you to take this city for him.

This is not a hold on hang out till Jesus comes anointing

This is a rise up and take the city anointing.

Take the country anointing

Take over anointing
