To show that JESUS (Aleph-Tav) is the Burnt offering and JESUS (symbolized by Joshua) is the offerer. GOD will destroy our enemies forever.

Joshua 8:28 (Amplified Bible)
8:28 So Joshua burned Ai and made it a heap of ruins for ever, even a desolation to this day.

Praise, worship and thank You very much LORD JESUS for You are my burnt offering and I am the living sacrifice before You. You are my Strength and You are my Weakness.

"So Joshua burned"
People thought they were burning Ai alone but they forgot the real burnt offering is JESUS.
Exodus 29:14 (Amplified Bible)
29:14 But the flesh of the bull, its hide, and the contents of its entrails you shall burn with fire outside the camp; it is a sin offering.
Hebrews 13:11-13 (Amplified Bible)
13:11 For when the blood of animals is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest as a sacrifice for sin, the victims’ bodies are burned outside the limits of the camp.
13:12 Therefore Jesus also suffered and died outside the [city’s] gate in order that He might purify and consecrate the people through [the shedding of] His own blood and set them apart as holy [for God].
13:13 Let us then go forth [from all that would prevent us] to Him outside the camp [at Calvary], bearing the contempt and abuse and shame with Him.
CHRIST's sufferings is the burnt offering for us. In His body, He was full of pain, sorrows as if He was burned alive with His wounds and strife. In the little, ignored things CHRIST is there. At the time of Moses and Joshua, death penalty is by stoning and burning, while in the time of JESUS' death penalty is by crucifixion. Hence, CHRIST needed to die as sin through death penalty by the cross. We are talking about death penalty at different times.

The Aleph-Tav signature of the LORD JESUS CHRIST looks like a tent peg. The tent peg is the Cornerstone. The tent is our bodies.
What are little and insignificant here in the world are the most important in Heaven.
The tent peg is nothing compared to the tent. But the tent peg is JESUS and the tent is our bodies. Hence, our bodies are made alive because JESUS allows it to stand upright.

Shadrach, Meschach and Abednego are insignificant people, and they treated themselves as insignificant but GOD raised them up and made them popular because of the fourth man in the fire, - the real burnt offering - the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Every time we have devotions, we are lifting up JESUS as our burnt offering not ourselves for we are the living sacrifice before GOD.

B. Any hindrances in our life will be made into ruins
"Ai and made it a heap of ruins for ever, even a desolation to this day"
Ai symbolizes GOD's enemies and majority of the bible scholars said that the king of Ai is wicked and a blasphemer of GOD, that's why the whole Ai is destroyed with him.
Ai is no different than Sodom and Gomorrah, they were both destroyed by fire but the king of Ai is the wicked one while the men of Sodom and Gomorrah were wicked people.
Genesis 13:13 (Amplified Bible)
13:13 But the men of Sodom were wicked and exceedingly great sinners against the Lord.
GOD is no respecter of persons, whether the king or president is the wicked person or the members, or vice-versa, the righteous needs to pray for a righteous leader and vice-versa.

5:16 Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].
Here in our country, we are praying for righteous, believers who will lead the government. If we greatly fear GOD, have wisdom from the Father of lights, and have guidance and leading from the HOLY SPIRIT, then what stops us from requiring the same leader for our country.
