Summary: This is an evangelistic sermon for people from different religious backgrounds. It introduces people to the Christian worldview and clearly explains the Gospel. I often preach this to crowds of thousands in evangelistic crusades.

Introduction: Tonight, I want to talk about four miracles. I have read the entire Bible and I have discovered the four greatest miracles God ever did. Do you want to know what they are?

I. Miracle #1: God created YOU!

A. God created everything.

a. Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

b. Colossians 1:16 “For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.”

c. God made the animals, the sea, the plants, and the birds.

d. God made the first man and the first woman, named Adam and Eve.

Genesis 2:7 “The LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul”

e. God made the beautiful country of Honduras.

f. God made you.

B. God created everything with a purpose.

a. The fish were made to swim.

b. The birds were made to fly.

c. The plants were made to give us food.

a. God does not create junk.

b. You were created to be beautiful.

c. You were created with a purpose.

D. God created you to be His friend.

a. God created Adam and Eve to be His friends.

b. Everyday, God walked and talked with Adam and Eve.

E. Satan destroyed God’s plan.

a. God made everything that is good because God is good.

b. But, the devil is evil.

c. The devil tempted Adam and Eve. He convinced them to disobey God. When Adam and Eve disobeyed God, sin entered the world.

d. What is sin? Disobedience to God’s command is a sin.

1. Lying is a sin.

2. Stealing is a sin.

3. Cheating is a sin.

4. Having hate in your heart toward your brother is a sin.

e. Every person has sinned. Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord”

f. When sin entered the world, death and sickness entered the world. Romans 5:12 “Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned”

F. Sin separates us from God.

a. When Adam and Even sinned, their fellowship with God was broken.

b. Because of our sin, our fellowship with God is broken.

c. Because of sin, we are separated from God.

d. This made God sad because He wants to walk with us and to talk with us.

II. Miracle #2: God loves YOU!

A. God hates sin, but He loves you.

a. 1 John 4:8 “God is Love.”

b. While we were still sinners, God loved us.

B. The proof that God loves you is Jesus.

a. 1 John 4:9 “This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him”

b. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

c. God loved the world so much, He sent His only Son to the earth to pay the price for our sins. Matthew 1:21 “She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

d. Jesus was born 2,000 years ago in Israel. He walked and talked with His disciples.

III. Miracle #3: God heals YOU!

A. Jesus healed the sick.

a. Jesus came to destroy the works of sin. Jesus came to destroy all the works of Satan. 1 John 3:8 “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.”

b. Sickness exists on the earth because there is sin on the earth.

c. Jesus healed the sick when he walked and talked on the earth. He healed the blind, the cripples, the lady with the issue of blood, he healed all kinds of sickness and disease when he was on earth.

B. Today, Jesus continues to heal the sick.

a. Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”
