I. EXORDIUM:
Are you a sinner?
Yes, I am but I am also a son of GOD. Im a sinner forgiven by GOD and in His Grace and Mercy, He gave me the right to become a child of GOD.

To show that the divine effort changed all the meaning of sin, righteousness and judgement.
IV. TEXT:
John 16:8-11 (Amplified Bible)
16:8 And when He comes, He will convict and convince the world and bring demonstration to it about sin and about righteousness (uprightness of heart and right standing with God) and about judgment:
16:9 About sin, because they do not believe in Me [trust in, rely on, and adhere to Me];
16:10 About righteousness (uprightness of heart and right standing with God), because I go to My Father, and you will see Me no longer;
16:11 About judgment, because the ruler (evil genius, prince) of this world [Satan] is judged and condemned and sentence already is passed upon him.
V. THESIS:
Praise, worship and thank You very much LORD JESUS because of Your Divine Effort in my life, I'm a sinner that is a child of GOD, I am righteous because of Your righteousness in me, and I'm no longer judged and condemned and I will enjoy eternal life with You in Heaven.

But these are written so that you may continue to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in him you will have life by the power of his name.
There are three things that changed it's definitions and impact on our lives when JESUS came 2,000 years ago to save us from our sins.
These are sin, righteousness and judgement.

A. Sin - because you don't believe in JESUS
"16:9 About sin, because they do not believe in Me [trust in, rely on, and adhere to Me]; "
Before: Sin - the voluntary departure of a moral agent from a known rule of rectitude or duty, prescribed by God; any voluntary transgression of the divine law, or violation of a divine command; a wicked act; iniquity.
Hebrews 10:28 (Amplified Bible)
10:28 Any person who has violated and [thus] rejected and set at naught the Law of Moses is put to death without pity or mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses.
Definition of sin in the Old Testament that is Law:
Deuteronomy 17:2-6 (Amplified Bible)
17:2 If there is found among you within any of your towns which the Lord your God gives you a man or woman who does what is wicked in the sight of the Lord your God by transgressing His covenant,
17:3 Who has gone and served other gods and worshiped them, or the sun or moon or any of the host of the heavens, which I have forbidden,
17:4 And it is told and you hear of it, then inquire diligently. And if it is certainly true that such an abomination has been committed in Israel,
17:5 Then you shall bring forth to your town’s gates that man or woman who has done that wicked thing and you shall stone that man or woman to death.
17:6 On the evidence of two or three witnesses he who is worthy of death shall be put to death; he shall not be put to death on the evidence of one witness.
You are a sinner because you sin, but because you rejected the LORD JESUS offer of salvation and grace for you. It's no longer what you do or who you are, but who JESUS in your life. It's relationship not religion that can save us from hell.

6:23 For the wages which sin pays is death, but the [bountiful] free gift of God is eternal life through (in union with) Jesus Christ our Lord.

John 14:6 (Amplified Bible)
14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.
After JESUS came: Sin - People don't believe in JESUS.
Illustration/Example:
After accepting the LORD JESUS, a prisoner inside a jail declares that he's set free, although he is still behind bars. Yes, he may die because of death penalty but he will go to heaven after his death.
B. Righteousness - because JESUS has been offered to the FATHER
"16:10 About righteousness (uprightness of heart and right standing with God), because I go to My Father, and you will see Me no longer; "
Before: Righteousness - purity of heart and rectitude of life; conformity of heart and life to the divine law.
After JESUS came: Righteousness - You are already righteous because JESUS has been offered as sin offering before the FATHER GOD.
John 3:14 (Amplified Bible)
3:14 And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert [on a pole], so must [so it is necessary that] the Son of Man be lifted up [on the cross],
John 5:32 (Amplified Bible)
5:32 There is Another Who testifies concerning Me, and I know and am certain that His evidence on My behalf is true and valid.

C. Judgement - because the god of this world has been judged
"16:11 About judgment, because the ruler (evil genius, prince) of this world [Satan] is judged and condemned and sentence already is passed upon him."
Before: Judgement - in law, a judgement pronounced by a court or judge upon a criminal; a jdicial decision publicly and officially declared in a criminal prosecution. In technical language, sentence is used only for the declaration of judgement against the convicted of a crime.
After JESUS came: Judgement - devil has been judged not the people.
Hell was prepared for the devil and his angels not for people but people want to go there by not accepting the LORD.
Matthew 25:41 (Amplified Bible)
25:41 Then He will say to those at His left hand, Begone from Me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels!
Before definition of judgement, all of us will be judged according to our works.
2 Corinthians 5:10-11 (Amplified Bible)
5:10 For we must all appear and be revealed as we are before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive [his pay] according to what he has done in the body, whether good or evil [considering what his purpose and motive have been, and what he has achieved, been busy with, and given himself and his attention to accomplishing].
5:11 Therefore, being conscious of fearing the Lord with respect and reverence, we seek to win people over [to persuade them]. But what sort of persons we are is plainly recognized and thoroughly understood by God, and I hope that it is plainly recognized and thoroughly understood also by your consciences (your inborn discernment).
But now, we are no longer judged and condemnation is no longer applicable to us.
Ephesians 2:8-9 (Amplified Bible)
2:8 For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;
2:9 Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law’s demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.]

8:1 THEREFORE, [there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit.
IX. CONCLUSION:
Praise, worship and thank You very much LORD JESUS because of Your Divine Effort in my life, I'm a sinner that is a child of GOD, I am righteous because of Your righteousness in me, and I'm no longer judged and condemned and I will enjoy eternal life with You in Heaven.
