Baltimore Riots
Introduction:
We are faced in this nation with riots looting and anger beyond comprehensive ability. Ive spent alot of time seeking the LORD on this subject and bible study. I pray this sermon reaches those involved..
Scripture: Ephesians 4: 24 -32 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
We are to live according to the word of God and the word says be ye holy for I AM HOLY.
25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
WHEN WE LET OUR ANGER GET THE BEST OF US WE TEND TO DO THINGS ACCORDING TO HOW THE ENEMY WOULD HAVE US REACT. WHY give way to the devil and take it out of Gods hands? What are we proving ?
27 Neither give place to the devil.
When we take the problem from God we give it to the devil opening gateways to evil..
28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
We must stop looting and stealing from Others nomatter what the world throws at us. Remember this...the world is not of God and the enemy of god...and also those of the world including those that claim to be of Christ but wear the devil suit
29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Ive heard these people including the police using foul words such as the F BOMB AND CURSING OTHERS WHO ARE MADE IN THE SIMILITUDE OF GOD. WE ARE THE IMAGE BEARERS. CURSING OTHERS AND BLESSSING GOD SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING.
30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
GRIEVING THE HOLY GHOST IS WHEN WE KNOW SOMETHING IS WRONG BUT DO IT ANYWAY. WHEN THEY WERE LOOTING THE STORES HE HOLY GHOST WAS WARNING THEM IT WAS WRONG BUT THEY DID IT ANYWAY , GRIEVING THE HOLY GHOST.
31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
LET THE HATE LEAVE YOU. AND FORGIVE AS GOD HAS FORGIVEN YOU. GOD CANT STAND SIN AND LOATHS SIN AND WE ARE TO HATE THE SAME. WE NEED TO RISE ABOVE THE COMMON PRACTICES AND BE CHRIST LIKE AT ALL TIMES.
I was reading an artical the other day on the Ethiopian jews doing the same thing african americans are doing, rioting and looting and when the ethiopian jews were compared to african americans they condemned te comparison. Why ? They are doing the same thing. They dont lay this at JESUS feet but pay back evil with evil. Thats what they are doing. And tis is according to the word of God. How can we say we are children of God but act like the devil? Its impossible. Please understand im not racist and never have been. I know the struggle you are facing.. but rev Martin Luther King would condemn the actions of today. However i do believe that God is exposing a broken ststem of officers that break the law and do as they want and abuse there power... i want to say a little prayer for peace....Thankyou beloved..
Prayer: Father in heaven i pray for peace in the hearts of the hurt african americans and i pray you show them you love them and you will handle this problem. Nothing is impossible for you ...Thankyou father... in Jesus name i pray...amen
