Romans 6:6” We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.”

Two days back, I was teaching English grammar at our Abide School and it was pretty tough subject; however, I tried making it interesting through illustrations. My subject for the day was capital letters! I explained to them that, after full stop it should always be followed by capital letters and I went on to explain how capital letters are used for important words and also in names of persons, objects, countries and so on. Capital letters always attracted attention! This lesson came swinging back to my mind, while I was preparing for the youth fellowship! Capital letter always follows fully stop!

This phrase kept popping up in my mind so heavily that I titled my message that day as ‘after a full stop!’ Friend, we cannot continue to sin but when we decide to put a full stop to it, I mean close it completely, then surely Victory with a big capital ‘V’ would follow in our life! Amen. Please do not find an excuse for your shabby life, God promised in His Word for an abundant and joyful life in His presence! Read: . “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10) This is possible only if we abide in Him and we become partakers of his divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire. ( 2 Peter 1:4)

Many are not able to overcome temptations, corruption and attractions because they have failed to seal the entry point completely, even a small leakage can damage the entire stuff. Are you listening? You cannot say that you smoke just ten cigarettes a day instead of three packets like before and call it victory; the challenge is to quit smoking altogether. Hurray! Did not Jesus look at the woman who was caught red handed in adultery, forgive her but still send her with a severe warning, ‘from now on sin no more!’ (John 8:11) Have you failed to read this? After healing the man who was invalid for 38 years at the Bethesda pool, Jesus told him, "See, you are well! Sin no more, that nothing worse may happen to you."

We should never allow sin to have dominion over us, but it is sad to see Christian youth walk , talk and live like the world. These same people callously walk up to the altar to partake in the holy communion. After accepting Jesus Christ in his life, Pat Robertson, founder of Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), came straight to his home and removed the nude pic in his living room and also emptied enormous bottles of alcohol into the sink. This is what you call as full stop! God blessed Pat Roberson enormously, he has a career as the founder of several major organizations and corporations as well as a university. Capital letter always follow fully stop!

Hebrews 10:26” For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins.”
