Exodus 15:26 “and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.”
The God That Heals
Jehovah, meaning God, and Rapha, meaning to mend (by stitching), also to cure, heal and make new again.
Meaning that whatever is going on with you in your life at anytime, and you feel like you've falling to pieces, Jesus can stitch you back together again, he will make you whole again.
He will fix your situation, whatever that may be.
If you're having trouble with brokenness, Jesus, Jehovah Rapha will mend you.
If you're having trouble with the stresses of life, Jesus, Jehovah Rapha will repair you.
If you're having trouble with sickness, Jesus, Jehovah Rapha will heal you.
If you're sick and tired of being sick and tired, then your solution is clear.
God says follow His ways and He will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.”
What diseases, illnesses are you dealing with? Or better yet what
Dis- Eases do you face today?
God is the healer of your diseases and your Dis-Eases in life.
You know the ones, the headaches, the migraines, the cancers, the arthritis, the STDS the heart aches, the stresses, the racial tensions, the hatred that's going around, the mishandling of Gods word.
All of theses are Dis-Eases and the diseases the world has to deal with today and someone is suffering from something today.
It's no different from the times in scripture. You remember the diseases that the Egyptians went through.
The animals went through, the people went through, even the river went through when it was turned into blood. The hardships were given to the Egyptians because of pharaoh not being obedient to the word of God.
God told Pharoh to let his people go!
We have that same problem. What have you not let go of? What burdens are you still carrying when he said to cast all of your Cares upon him for he cares about you. You see we don't have the right mindset. We don't see with the right eye. And we rely too much on us!
Let it go and give it to God who is a healer. Jehovah Rapha our healer.
Be obedient to his word and there is nothing he won't do for you.
David asked God in Psalm 6:2 to have mercy on me oh Lord for I am weak. Heal me oh Lord for my bones are vexed.
In Isaiah 57:19 God said I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the Lord; and I will heal him.
Jesus wants to heal you like he did by the word of his mouth when he healed the centurion's servant. Because of the faith that the solider showed.
Jesus wants to heal you like he did by the touch of his hand when he touched peters mother in law and cured her fever. And after the touch the bible said in Matthew 8:15 that she got up and ministered to them.
What are you doing after he touched you?!?!
When he touched me I quit smoking
When he touched me I quit drinking
When he touched me I quit cussing
When he touched me I found me.
He touched me and he healed my mind. He touched me and he healed my soul. He touched me and he healed my heart.
Jesus wants to heal you
Jehovah Rapha wants to heal you but to the ones who refuse his will God said there is no peace.
The message is clear. Lord help me and heal me. Heal me from myself. From my ways from my Dis-Eases and my afflictions. I commit myself to you and I give up the worlds view for your view. Amen
