The number of membership is based on male.
Example:
a. Feeding of 5,000 - this is based on 5,000 men

And those who ate were about 5,000 men, not including women and children.
b. Feeding of 4,000 - this is based on 4,000 men
Matthew 15:38 (Amplified Bible)
Those who ate were 4,000 men, not including the women and the children.

Numbers 4:40 (Amplified Bible)
Those who were enrolled of them, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, were 2,630.

It remind me of something that is needed to settle on our part and this is the time for the LORD GOD to settle it.
Males/husbands are type of CHRIST and their females/wives are a type of the Church.

We stress that in every marriage or family, the head is supposed to be the man that GOD created. That's why no place in the bible you can see same sex marriage happening or being permitted by GOD and it's abomination in GOD's sight.
