THERE ARE SOME THINGS RIGHT WITH THIS SINFULL WORLD
Psalms 33: 13 The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.
14 From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.
15 He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.
16 There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
17 An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.
18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
20 Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.
21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
22 Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
We need to give God glory for his creation.
We need to live Godly life.
People need to get saved.
Tell others what a wonderful Saviour we have.
1. This world was created for his glory.
Psalms 19: 1 (To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.) The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
The majesty of his power.
The material for his people.
Man for his praise.
2. God controls this world by his greatness.
Heb.1: 1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
He governs the world by his command.
He guards the world by his character.
3. God’s church with the Gospel.
Matt.28: 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Preaching the cross of Christ to all.
Personal work go forth to win.
Promise “I’ll go with you all the way”.
4. God’s call to get right now.
Prov.1: 24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
Repent now of your sins.
Receive Christ today.
Regret you were ever lost.
5.God’s commission saints live Godly.
Ps. 12: 1 (To the chief Musician upon Sheminith, A Psalm of David.) Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.
Titus 2: 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Separated from the sinful world.
Sanctified for service.
Spirit filled for performance.
6.God’s condemnation no longer grace.
Rom .3: 19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
Turn from Christ to long.
Trusting your way not God’s.
Time ran out. Now it’s to late.
7.God’s crown to receive in Glory.
11Tim.4: 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
Saints to crown Jesus Lord of Lords.
Saints to claim their rewards.
Salvation made way for this great day
