In the Christian life there are some things God does not save us from!

I. TEMPTATION I Cor. 10: 13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

The Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

Temptation: Looking through a key hole

You WILL be tempted! If you yield, you will lose out with God!

II. DOUBTING (Salvation Security)

1. Elijah: Under the Juniper tree!

2. John Baptist: "Art thou He, or should we look for another?"

3. Thomas: "Let me see the nail prints"

III. CHASTISEMENT: God has to whip us! Heb. 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

Every Christian

I want to walk close to Him every day!

IV. PERSECUTION

"Blessed are ye when men revile you!"

It takes a somebody to serve God!

V. SORROW Do you have sorrows?

VI. DEATH

"I am He that was dead, but am alive for evermore

Death will be the last enemy to be destroyed.

VII. JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST II Cor. 5: 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

God has only one standard – WE JUDGE TOO OFTEN

We will be ashamed on that day
