Summary: Sowing and Reaping, Everlasting Benefits, Walking in your Season, Baptized in the Holy Ghost

On occasions life’s events have interruptions which can change our daily rhythm into a new tempo. Think about a phone call in the middle of the night places us in a sense of urgency or even a unexpected illness, death or trouble can all serve as a change of seasons or even a change of pace. Just as well as a promotion, birthday, marriage, reunion can also affect our rhythm and tempo in our lives. Nevertheless of the changes good or bad we have to realize that throughout the Word of God the people of God faced changes throughout their journey but they never let go of their belief in God. For instance they face captivity, slavery, wondering in the wilderness and loss of homeland. Yet understand that in the book of Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. God has a purpose and a plan for everyone therefore we are walking in our SEASON. Let look at in a different way year after year we go through seasons changing and in those changes we have notice that sometime we cannot tell the Winter from the Spring nor the Summer from the Fall. There are times we the meteorologist will forecast that we will have rain but end up with snow or a hot sunny day. In actions like these God is showing us that he is still in control of the changing of the seasons but it is up to each us to allow him full control of our lives. It is clear that in order to reap everlasting life there are some requirements that we as believers are obligated to fulfill. For we have to understand that our existence of life is between birth and death. Now in this particular scripture it is clear that Paul is warning us not to compare ourselves one to another. It is important that we be concern to fulfilling unto the plan that God has intended for each of us. Nevertheless we must get the full picture of the Seasons that God has ordered for his children. Furthermore in James 3:18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace. What this verse is saying regarding walking into your season is that we have to posse PEACE within our hearts and minds and understand that with God on our side that nothing can waiver us from his ultimate plan. As Paul stated in Galatians 5:16 I say then: walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Which means that as we travel this life journey and our seasons are going to change but we have to hold tight to the Spirit of God within us; it is in that very Spirit that we are to walk in and be led by is when we are overcomers in Christ Jesus. Now the points within this message today

1. Sowing and Reaping – Galatians 6:6-7

2. Everlasting Benefits – Galatians 6:8-9

3. Walking in your Season – Galatians 5:18

4. Baptized in the Holy Ghost – Joel 2:28-29

As we progress in our Christian walk considering that it is a must to Sow into the will of God in our daily walk. Say to your neighbor it is time to for us to begin reaping.

When you think of Sowing and Reaping look at as the changing of the seasons Fall to Winter, Winter to Spring, Spring to Summer and Summer to Fall. Think about it there are significant indicators that seasons are changing by the changing of the leaves. God gives us an understanding of his process when he needs to make a change in our lives. In the Galatians 6:6-7 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. It is imperative that we identify the process of how we sow affects how we reap. Allow me to expound on this when we sow in sin we reap temporary results therefore when we sow spiritually we reap plentifully. Just as the same as when we reap in faith we sow in faith which is bringing forth Good Fruit for our Lord. Take a moment and look around at the communities, the schools, the legislation, the cities and what do you see. Do you see plentiful harvest in the area or do you see a Spiritual Stronghold in the area. Now here is where we as God’s people take ownership just as Paul states in

2 Corinthians 1:21-22

Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. Therefore in this OWNERSHIP we have to understand that Jesus withstood in afflictions with great patience and Compassion. Such is required of each of us today in the midst of it all, in the midst of the bad times, in the midst of the sorrowful times, in the midst of the painful times, in the midst of any storms, in the midst of troubles and even in the midst of the good times we are to posse patience and prayer the fervent Prayer. So look around you and start sowing spiritually in your communities, school, legislation, and cities praying over it all in the NAME OF JESUS is when the oppressions in the land will begin to change to successes. Also understand that Paul even teaches in 2 Corinthians 11:23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft. which mean that the roughness of the hands of a dedicated worker for the Lord will be like the hands of a field worker. Nevertheless it is honorable as we sow the benefits reaped. We have to understand the God knows exactly what we are sowing therefore don’t be an imitator strive always be a benefactor for the Lord.

Moving forward in the message in Galatians 6:8-9 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we look at the particular scripture we must understand this is when we must take OWNERSHIP of our spiritual walk in the Lord to gain everlasting Benefits. Just like Mr Watt who is known for inventing the Radar for Speeding and he was a victim to his very own invention. The irony of this is just as it is stated in the scripture we have understand what we soweth whether it be good or bad is what will reap. Nevertheless we are to brand ourselves in Christ Jesus such as Paul as stated in the scriptures for he willing endured the persecution and hardship in his Christian walk for the Lord. Understand thou he endured such seasons just as in Ecclesiastes 3:2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; just this text in the bible gives us an understanding that God has a time for each of us but it is up to us to choose to spiritually sow for the Lord and willing endure the persecutions that come in this walk. Such is the same in 2 Corinthians 6:4-5 But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings. Understand that such as Paul, Peter, Timothy, John and Phillip each faced some form of punishment as they went out amongst the people teaching of Jesus Christ they accepted the challenges as an honor to live or die for God. Now if we look at today’s society the persecution is not as drastic as in the early church but we still face seasons that we are persecuted for the Lord but the benefit is the Greatest Reward. Think about it you are in a season right now with the Lord as you face the changes in your communities, at your jobs, and in your homes. Gaining everlasting benefits can be a challenge in the season but by the spirit of God it clearly says is that it is your time because you willing survived the worst of times by sowing into the will of GOD.

We can now state our claim and walk into our Everlasting benefits guess what church it is your season now WALK IN YOUR SEASON because we do not have to wait no more. For in Galatians 5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Understand that when we are led by the God is when we are following the Great Commission in our Spiritual walk. Yes we are obligated to follow the Laws but one thing that distinguishes our Christian faith is the grace of God. It is clear that the Laws of the bible display unto each of us our needs but by grace we are shown God’s provision to meet that need. Understand that we are under God’s Providential Care as we walk in our season. For

Psalms 91

That dwelleth in the secret place of the most High

shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress:

my God; in him will I trust.

Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler,

and from the noisome pestilence.

He shall cover thee with his feathers,

and under his wings shalt thou trust:

his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night;

nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness;

nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

A thousand shall fall at thy side,

and ten thousand at thy right hand;

but it shall not come nigh thee.

Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold

and see the reward of the wicked.

Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge,

even the most High, thy habitation;

There shall no evil befall thee,

neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

For he shall give his angels charge over thee,

to keep thee in all thy ways.

They shall bear thee up in their hands,

lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder:

the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

He shall call upon me, and I will answer him:

I will be with him in trouble;

I will deliver him, and honour him.

With long life will I satisfy him,

and shew him my salvation.

And furthermore as we know the Law states we must work for our salvation but grace says salvation is free. Now start looking for your Season breakthrough in the midst of it all walk into your Season for God is always on your side. For in Galatians 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. In this scripture we must understand that use every opportunity God gives unto us Nevertheless there is no more waiting for the sun to shine in your life regardless of the current relationships in your life, regardless if you are jobless, regardless if you have endure sickness, regardless if you are endured the grief, whatever you have faced right now in your life the wait is over. Walk by your Faith in God and not by sight for as we walk in that Faith is when God can begin to move those mountains aside and make the valleys straight in your life. There is no battle that God cannot win for each of us we have to know that we must be sowers of his word, gain our everlasting benefits and with all that WALK INTO OUR SEASON.

As we see throughout this message God wants to realize that he has a season for each of us but in

Joel 2:28-29

And it shall come to pass afterward,

that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh;

and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,

your old men shall dream dreams,

your young men shall see visions:

And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids

in those days will I pour out my spirit.

Understand that in this particular scripture God makes a clear statement that he will pour out his Spirit upon all flesh the question that is on the table before each of us. Is do we receive it and accept being accountable for such Spirit. For in this spirit there is power, in this spirit there is deliverance, in this spirit there is reaping, in this spirit there is repentance, in this spirit there is sowing, in this spirit there is healing, in this spirit there is everlasting, in this spirit the is oneness with the God the father and God the Son for in this spirit we possess the charismatic experience from our Heavenly father. For we as the body of Christ provide the footing for what God began since the creation of the World. What is important in this entire message God fulfilled his promise as stated in Joel for it is exemplified in Acts 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. This is in the dispensation of grace that God pours out his Holy Spirit upon all flesh. See it is in the infilling of the Spirit of God that God’s gifts will begin to flow through each of us and we will begin to Sow Great Fruit which will lead to reaping the everlasting benefits for in such greatness will we benefit the attrition of the Holy Spirit. In this spirit we have to understand when Ecclesiastes 3:3-8 is when our seasons begin to change for everything has a season. To be clear it is just like when grandmothers where cooking in the kitchen you would ask how much flour did you put in the cake and her statement was child I just put a pinch of this, a smudging of that, a dash of this, and dab of that and end results of her cake was always fabulous. Therefore understand that God operates in us the same way with his Holy Spirit for it is in that spirit that he place various gifts for each us to fulfill his word by be a soul winner in his vineyard. Therefore my brothers and sisters the wait is over the sun is going to shine in your life, hold fast to your Season for it is changing by God’s grace and with that church Walk into your Season.

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
