SEEM TO NEVER SAID I LOVE YOU --- GUESS WE THOUGHT THE OTHER ONE KNEW?

HAVE YOU EVER TRIED TO DEFINE LOVE?
I fear my pen or keypad does not have the ability to define real love?
LOVE WILL DEMONSTRATE ITSELF:
Mother Teresa (83 years old) was 4'6'' tall.
In 1994 she was invited to the National prayer Breakfast in Washington D.C.
President Bill Clinton and Vice President Al Gore were seated at the tables.
She towered above the crowd and she cried out:

THE PROPER MEANING OF LOVE: GIVING UNTIL IT HURTS.
IF WE ACCEPT THAT A MOTHER CAN KILL EVEN HER OWN CHILD,

ANY COUNTRY THAT ACCEPTS ABORTION IS NOT TEACHING ITS PEOPLE TO
LOVE BUT TO USE ANY VIOLENCE TO GET WHAT WE WANT.
Mother Teresa became a example of what love means. She dreamed of giving to the weak
and she gave herself, she gave her life as A MODEL OF GOD'S LOVE.
HOW DOES THE WORLD DEFINE LOVE?

I HAVE NEVER FOUND HOW TO DEFINE LOVE WITH WORDS...
Can we see the role of INTEREST is in love?
Do we recognize LOVE MUST BE A MORE THAN DEDICATION VS COMMITMENT?
All the farm animals gathered around the barn and were hungry?
One animal ask what is for breakfast this morning?
The chicken quickly replied: LET US HAVE EGGS AND BACON!
The pig looked at the hen and said: THAT IS EASY FOR YOU TO SAY.
The egg is DEDICATION, THE BACON TO ME IS TOTAL COMMITMENT.
Today in our families and church we have a call to DEDICATION, when our Father's call is
for TOTAL COMMITMENT.
ACTIONS CAN CHANGE FEELINGS... I LOVE YOU BUT I WANT TO HURT YOU SO BAD...
I WILL DO WHAT I WANT TO DO --- BUT I AM NOT GOING TO DO ANYTHING BUT HURT...
Genesis 4:9 And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am
I my brother's keeper?
James 2:16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding
ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
Have you ever heard of a woman that went into the Preacher's office ...
APPEARS THAT THIS WOMAN HATED HER HUSBAND.
She did not just want a DIVORCE and TO GET RID OF HIM, she wanted to get even.
Her honest desire was WAS TO HURT HIM AS BAD AS HE HURT HER.
The Preacher said I have a plan to really GET TO HIM!
It will not hurt him bad if you leave him now. He might even enjoy you leaving.
The plan is so easy. GO HOME AND ACT LIKE YOU REALLY LOVE HIM.
Tell your husband he is a wonderful man. Tell him you love him so much. Hug and kiss him often.
Be so very kind and understanding to him. SPARE NO EFFORT TO TREAT HIM LIKE A KING.
Praise him and thank him. Tell him how much you enjoy him. Talk to him in positive ways.
Cook special meals for him, the secret is to hug him often and hold him every chance you have.
THEN WHEN YOU HAVE YOUR HOOK SET DROP --- THE BOMB ON HIM.
THEN TELL HIM YOU WANT A DIVORCE AND THAT WILL REALLY HURT HIM.
She agreed to the wonderful plan. He will be so surprised she said!
The Preacher sold her on the plan! She was so excited to launch the plan.
She acted AS IF she loved him. SHE WAS KIND. SHE SHOWED HIM RESPECT AND THEN
SHOW HIM LOVE. SHE LISTENED TO HIM. SHE GAVE AND GAVE SOME MORE.
SHE REINFORCED HIM AND SHARED HER HEART.
SEVERAL MONTHS PASSED BY AND THE PREACHER NEVER SAW HER.
By chance one day the Preacher saw the lady in a store.
HE ASKED HER... ARE YOU READY TO FILE FOR DIVORCE... ???
THE LADY SAID I NEVER WANT A DIVORCE FROM MY WONDERFUL HUSBAND.
I REALLY DO LOVE HIM...
--- SEE LOVE IS NOT WORDS, LOVE IS DEEDS...
--- HER ACTIONS CHANGED HER REACTIONS...
--- WHEN HER ATTITUDES CHANGED HER ACTIONS CHANGED --- HER FEELINGS CHANGED...
--- LOVE IS AN ACTION WORD... LOVE IS SACRIFICE...
YOUR REACTION WILL ALWAYS EXPOSE WHERE THERE IS LOVE OR THE LACK OF REAL
LOVE. REMEMBER LUKE RECORDS THE STORY OF TWO SONS IN CHAPTER 15 ...
LUKE 15 IS KNOW AS THE LOST CHAPTER...
The Father waited every extra moment he had HOPE FOR HIS SONS RETURN...
ONE DAY THE PRODIGAL SON TOPPED THE HILL AND HIS FATHER WAS SO THANKFUL.
IT APPEARS THE ELDER BROTHER DID NOT REALLY LOVE HIS BROTHER ---
HE WAS ANGRY AND JEALOUS AT HIS "WILD BROTHER'S RETURN."
Luke 15:24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to
be merry. 25 Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard
musick and dancing. 26 And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant. 27 And
he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath
received him safe and sound. 28 And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out,
and intreated him.
WHY DID THE OLDER BROTHER GOD TO A SERVANT TO HEAR THE NEWS.
Perhaps he loved the RUMOR MILL?
The FATHER LOVED BOTH OF HIS SONS AND HE REFUSED TO ALLOW THE OLDER
BROTHER'S REACTION TO DAMPEN.
What will your ACTIONS and REACTIONS REVEAL HIDDEN IN YOUR HEART?
HAVE YOU EVER DESIRED TO SEE THE HOUSE THAT LOVE BUILT?
LOVE IS GIVING MORE THAN DEDICATION... LOVE IS TOTAL UNSELFISH KINDNESS.
LOVE IS NOT A SACRIFICE... LOVE IS WHERE YOU BUILD A FAMILY AND A CHURCH.
1 John 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
Have you ever heard the story about the family that really loved each other.
There were two sons in this family. The two brothers decided to build a business
together.
The one brother was a bachelor and lived alone in a small apartment. The older
brother had a large house and was married and had six children. The two brothers lived near
a river and they worked hard together and build a mill. They would grind the grain and they kept
a portion of each sack of grain they would processed for others.
So they made their living grinding the grain of others and then they would keep a fair
portion of grain for their food and sell their surplus for money. Their business was thriving.
At the end of the day they divided the grain into TWO EQUAL PARTS. They made a good living
and in love their equally shared their profits.Each brother would have an equal share from the work
of that day.
When they first started the MILL, the single brother was thinking, we may work equally
the same. But my brother has a wife and 6 children. THIS IS NOT RIGHT, I AM ALONE AND
MY BROTHER NEEDS MORE GRAIN THAN I DO. So naturally his brother need more even
if they worked equally.
So each night, the bachelor brother would sneak back into the MILL and he would pour part
of his share back into HIS BROTHER'S GRAIN BIN. He loved his brother and his family and he
desired the best for him.
The married brother was thinking as he went to sleep one night about his single brother. He
thought I LOVE MY BROTHER SO MUCH. THIS IS NOT RIGHT. Some day my brother and I will
be old. I will have my 6 children to help and support me. My single brother will have nothing to
sustain him. He will be ALL ALONE. He deserves a greater portion than I do. So the married brother
would quietly sneak back into the mill and return a portion of the good day's work and he would
pour A PORTION into his brother's bin.
THE TWO BROTHERS WERE AMAZED THE NEXT MORNING AT THEIR GRAIN BINS
WERE SO FULL.
ONE NIGHT THE BROTHERS SLIPPED OUT OF THEIR HOMES AND HEADED BACK
THE MILL ABOUT THE SAME TIME. EACH BROTHER HAD A SACK OF GRAIN IN THEIR
HANDS. ONLY THEN DID THE BROTHERS REALIZE THAT THEY HAD BEEN CONCERNED
ABOUT EACH OTHER AND THEY HAD BEEN SECRETLY GIVING THEIR LOVE ONE TO
THE OTHER.
THE BROTHERS HUGGED EACH OTHER AND CRIED. THEY THANKED GOD FOR THEIR
MOTHER AND FATHER'S TEACHING THEM WHAT REAL LOVE WAS...
LOVE MET AT THE MILL... THEIR WORK WAS NEVER A CHORE OF HARD FORCE.
THEIR WORK WAS A GIFT OF LOVE TO EACH OTHER.
WE FACE LOVE TEST...WE ALL HAVE SOME KIND OF MOUNTAIN TO CLIMB --- MORIAH.
DO WE UNDERSTAND IT IS ON THIS MOUNTAIN SOLOMON BUILT THE TEMPLE? THE
PLACE OF THE LOVE TEST...
WE ALL FACE SOME KIND OF LOVE TESTING EACH RELATIONSHIP WE HAVE...
DO YOU REALLY LOVE IN WORDS AND DEEDS?
DO WE KNOW THE COST OF THE TEST THAT ABRAHAM WAS ASKED TO PAY...
NOT EVERY PERSON IS CALLED UPON TO LAY THEIR DREAM ON THE ALTAR...
Is the TEST OF LOVE FAIR?
Abraham stood on God's promise many years, and NOW HIS EYES SEE GOD'S TOUCH
WHEN HE HOLDS HIS LITTLE SON ON HIS LAP.
Abraham, Abraham do you love me?
DO YOU LOVE ME ENOUGH TO GIVE THE PROMISE BACK?
Genesis 22:2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get
thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains
which I will tell thee of.
ABRAHAM'S LOVE TEST WAS DIFFICULT BOTH ON HIS HEART AND ON ISAAC'S HEART.
SEE ISAAC HAD TO SUMBIT AND LAY ON THE ALTAR...
THE THIRD DAY TRUST, GOD AND ABRAHAM HAVE CLIMBED THE MOUNTAIN...
WE MUST TAKE OUR DREAM AND CLIMB...
Genesis 22:4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.
REAL LOVE TRUST GOD HAS A PLAN... AND WE MUST BY FAITH COME TO THE MOUNTAIN
AND WORSHIP THE HOLY GOD.
Genesis 22:7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am
I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?
8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both
of them together.
GOD DO WE LOVE YOU ENOUGH TO TAKE THE TEST AND PASS IT?
Cain gave of the crop? Abel gave the BEST!
The widow lady had a son, but she had to TRUST THE PLAN --- FIX THE PREACHER'S FOOD FIRST?
THERE IS A SAD STORY OF A YOUNG THAT FAILED THE LOVE TEST. ONE THING...
ONE THINK YOU LACK TO PASS THE LOVE TESTS...
There was a wonderful young man came to Jesus. This young man knew there was
more to life THAN JUST STUFF... AND KEEPING RULES...
This was a good young man and he kept all the commandments...
STILL SOMETHING WAS MISSING...
This young man made the effort to climb the mountain and met Jesus face to face.
Mark 10:20 And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.
21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell
whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take
up the cross, and follow me. 22 And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had
great possessions. 23 And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall
they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! 24 And the disciples were astonished at his words.
But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches
to enter into the kingdom of God!
THE YOUNG RICH MAN WALKED AWAY --- HE WAS SAD--- HE WAS GRIEVED ---
HE HAD IT ALL, THE LOTTERY MENTALITY ... HE WAS NOT A GIVER?
THIS YOUNG RICH MAN SAW STUFF, THINGS AS TREASURES?
HE TRADED TRINKETS FOR ETERNITY?
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things
shall be added unto you.
Luke 9:25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?
CONCLUSION... THE YOUNG RICH MAN FAILED THE LOVE TEST... IT WAS NOT THAT HE
WAS RICH, IT WAS THAT HE TRUSTED IN HIS GOODNESS, HE TRUSTED HIS RICHES...
WHERE ARE WE INVESTING OUR TRUST? TAKE UP THE CROSS AND CRUICFY THE FLESH?
ONE THING YOU LACK...I GUESS IT IS TRUE, YOU WILL DO WHAT YOU WANT TO DO...
HOW WILL I DEFINE LOVE? ---- What are you lacking?
