I. The Homosexual Agenda

A. What does the Bible say about homosexuality?

1. In Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13 God’s word says it is an abomination to the Lord.

2. What is an abomination?

3. An abomination is an outrage, a disgrace, something detestable to God

4. The NT further reinforces God’s stance on homosexuality.

5. 1 Corinthians 6:9–10 tells us that those who practice homosexuality will not see the Kingdom of God.

6. And that according to Romans 1:26-28 God has turned some over to their sin of homosexuality and let sin’s consequences run its course in their lives.

B. Their attitude

1. The design and plan to begin pushing the gay agenda began in the 1970’s but greatly expanded in the 1980’s.

2. Illustration # 1

3. The homosexual community is not simply made up of victims of discrimination nor are they just people wanting equality. They in fact hold a vile hatred of anything not like them or anything opposed to them.

C. Their purposes

1. There are a number of purposes by the homosexual community.

2. One of the primary purpose is to change the family unit as it is understood today.

D. Their plan

1. In the book “After the Ball: How America Will Conquer Its Fear and Hatred of Gays in the 1990s” it was revealed that one of the ways in which they will accomplish their goals would be by the use of propaganda.

2. “The homosexual agenda can succeed by conversion of the average Americans emotions, mind, and will, through, a planned psychological attack in the form of propaganda to the nation via media” (page 153);

3. “Propaganda relies more upon emotional manipulation that upon logic, since its goal is to bring about public change” (page 162);

4. They argue that homosexuals have been born gay even though they know it is not true.

5. “We argue that for all practical purposes, gays should be considered to have been born gay, even though sexual orientation, for most humans, seems to be the product of a complex interaction between innate predispositions and environmental factors during childhood and early adolescence” (page 184);

6. AIDS epidemic should be exploited “to increase attention and sympathy” as “victimized minority.” (pg. 25)

7. Portray opposing churches “as antiquated backwaters”, badly out of step with the time and with the latest findings of psychology (page 179);

8. All speech that is opposing homosexual behavior should be banned under “clear and present danger to public order” (pg.101)

II. The Transgender Agenda

A. What the Bible says about Transgenderism

1. Deuteronomy 22:5 “A woman shall not wear a man’s garment, nor shall a man put on a woman’s cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.

2. Romans 1:24-30

B. Their attitude

1. Their attitude is the same as the Homosexual attitude since it is part of the same movement.

2. It will be a sheer delight to besmirch our tormentors, we cannot waste our resources on revenge alone (page 189); (Book named “After the Ball How America Will Conquer Its Fear and Hatred of Gays in the 90's”)

3. The evil attitude may often be hidden but be sure that their true self is that of hatred and intolerance.

4. Further the Transgender agenda has clear totalitarian overtones which can be seen in a recent 4th circuit appeals court ruling that said a Virginia High School could not oppose a transgender make who claims to be female from entering both the bathrooms and locker rooms of that school.

5. Regardless of the dangers that will come with this judgment the so called rights of how someone feels overrides common sense and places our children in clear danger of sexual predators.

C. Their purposes

1. The ultimate purpose is not to cater to how people feel about what their sex is.

2. The ultimate purpose is to muddy the waters of sexual identification and destroy the Judeo-Christian understanding of the family.

3. If gender distinctions are no longer applicable, then there can be no clear understanding of what a Dad is or what a Father is.

4. If gender distinctions are no longer applicable, then there can be no clear understanding of what a mother is or a wife.

5. If we do not have a mother or a father, then who is the parent?

6. Who makes decisions for the children?

7. When two women (by birth) argue in court for parental rights then we give the state more control over the outcome and control of the children.

8. As the state gains more and more control over who controls the children they then set the parameters for how children are educated.

9. When parents no longer control the education of our children then the state teaches them its morality rather than that of the parents.

10. So then whoever controls the state, also controls our children.

11. It is the nuclear family being one man and one woman who bear children that interferes with the extremist agenda and therefore it must be abolished.

III. The Abortion Agenda

A. What the Bible says about abortion

1. The unborn child is in fact a person.

a. Psalm 51:5, David says, “Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me.”

b. Children are born in sin

c. In Luke 1:44, “For behold, when the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby leaped in my womb for joy.”

d. Children in the womb are shown to experience joy in scripture

e. Jeremiah 1:5 says, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you;

f. The Bible also uses personal pronouns to describe unborn children.

g. ‘Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.”

h. Children even at the point of conception are viewed as a gift of God.

i. In the OT anyone who caused the death of a child in the womb was considered to have murdered that person.

j. The Bible says murder is against the will of God.

B. The Purposes

1. Play video

2. While abortion proponents talk about choice when organizations talk to women they rarely if ever give adoption as a choice.

3. The right to “choose” abortion is the primary concern not simply the choice of the woman to do either.

4. Illustration # 4 article on Turkish Prime Minister

5. In an interview with Carol Everett who used to be the director for Planned Parenthood. She ran four clinics in the Dallas area .She admitted that abortion was all about business and that their tactics were to go into the schools and teach sex education disguised as safe sex, masturbation etc and to get our children sexually active so that they would have a growing customer base to make more money on abortions.

6. According to carol Everett who is the longest term customer?

7. A woman early in her teens.

8. Planned Parenthoods goal is three to five abortions between the ages of 13 and 18.

9. Carol has since become a Christian and has denounced this hideous behavior.

C. The plan

1. They go into schools and work to separate children from their parents and their values.

2. Becoming the sexpert in these children’s lives.

3. Redefining what modesty is.

4. They begin by reaching children in Kindergarten

5. Here they ask all the children to tell what parents call their private parts.

6. When the children all hear different names then it undermines what the parents told them in the view of the children and now the teachers and tell them all what they want.

7. Then in 1st thru 3rd grade discuss intercourse

8. 4th grade masturbation

9. Then in 5th and 6 grade get the kids sexually active while intentionally handing out defective condemns and low does birth control pills so the children would become pregnant.

IV. How we should view the threats.

A. There is no sin too big for God to forgive.

1. Rom 8:38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,

2. Rom 8:39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

B. We need to love these people no matter where they are at.

1. Jesus came to love the world where we are at.

2. Romans 5:8but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

3. Mark 2:17 and when Jesus heard it, he said to them, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners."

4. Jesus’ stated purpose for His earthly ministry was to reach out and heal those caught up in sin.

5. Luke 4:18 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed,

6. Luke 4:19 to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."

7. We need to love and accept any of them whoever comes to our services.

C. We should protect our families and we should stand against the sin not the sinner.

A. We should teach the word to our families. 2 Timothy 4:1-4

B. Refuse to believe the lie that we have to accept their sin in order to love the sinner.

C. Such claims are propaganda created by the agenda to shut down discussion.
