THE POOREST PERSON IN THE WORLD?

WHAT IS HOPE? PHYSICAL HOPE? MENTAL HOPE? SPIRITUAL HOPE?
Are we hopeless? Hopeful?
Maybe it is not the situation that we are in… Maybe it is the ATTITUDE ABOUT THE SITUATION WE ARE FACING?
Hope: to desire something to happen, anticipation, trust, EXPECTATION, confidence, reliance,
NO HOPE?
1 Thessalonians 4:13 (KJV) But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
I was in Haiti pre-earthquake? It was so poor. The orphanage on Thursday closed during the day to give the workers off. They gave the kids a small package of sugar and a 5 cents. The kids would take the five cents and buy a bottle of water, (an old pop bottle that someone RE-filled with water out of a well or maybe a big muddle puddle.) The kids
WHO IS THE POOREST PERSON IN THE WORLD? I would probably tell you the poorest class of people are
THOSE THAT HAVE NO HOPE.
Ephesians 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
FALSE HOPE?
John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Ever wonder about COMPUTER VIRUSES? Where do these viruses come? Why would anyone want to infected someone they do not know nor will ever meet computer? Other nations and militant groups would love to TAKE FALSE INFORMATION and do piracy programs. Bitter, angry, and cruel people love to spread FALSE INFORMATION---
They love to inflict and infect others. They have clubs and small hate groups coming against our government, banks are trying to hack computers for THE FUN OF IT AND PLAY HAVOC.
TODAY THE CHURCH WORLD IS BEING ATTACK BY FALSE DOCTRINES AND FALSE TEACHINGS TO DISRUPT AND HINDER GOD’S PLAN. DEVILS DESIRE TO DESTROY VALID, BIBLICAL BALANCED TEACHING. MANY ATTACK THE CHURCH OUT OF IGNORANCE AND BEING LEAD ASTRAY, BUT THERE ARE DEMONIC SPIRITS BEHIND THESE FALSEHOODS OF ATTACKS.
2 Peter 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
There is a spirit of compromise and popularity and agreeing with sin.
2 Thessalonians 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
KNOW THE REAL AND YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE COUNTERFIET.
Matthew 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. John JOHN 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
HOPE SO HOPE, THINK SO HOPE, MAYBE SO HOPE…
Mark 9:24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.
MISERABLE HOPE?
1 Corinthians 15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
Have you ever waited at the door for your parents or spouse to come home?
Were you excited? Did you dread?
Why?
YOU CAN HAVE BLESSED HOPE…
You can have blessed hope!
Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
CONCLUSION: WHY NOT BE A HOPE GIVER?
You can never give what you do not have. Focus on HOPE. Give kindness! Be tenderhearted…
But focus clearly on getting hope and giving
1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
CAN WE FIND HOPE IN THE MIDST OF THE STORM?
CBS radio newsman told a case of HOPELESSNESS for a small country church.
I heard a story of some old people in a small country church. They had nothing. They did have two piano players that were very, very good. The church was over 100 years old and the crowd was mainly old people. But they loved the Lord and were raised in this little church. The movement discussed closing the church and selling the property. The old people felt to close the church would doom those in the community to hell and it would be giving up.
The church finally found a preacher to come and help them keep the doors open. The best part of the church was the music and worship. The old piano players would impress anyone.
To make a long story short. One old piano player had a stroke that took out her right side. So the other piano player played so beautiful. Well, would you not know? The good piano player had a stroke and took out her left side. Now the best thing the church had to offer was destroyed and the pastor was discouraged. The two elderly piano players could still pray. They gathered one night a week to pray for revival and God save the church.
One old lady sat down at the piano and started playing with her left hand. It was beautiful. The other lady got up from her knees and was crying. SHE SAID WE HAVE HAD THE ANSWER THE WHOLE TIME! She started playing with her right hand while the other lady played with left hand. Praise started flowing.
THERE WAS A SWEET SPIIRIT OF HARMONY AND TEAMWORK. What a wonder picture of God’s work. WHAT ONE COULD NOT ACCOMPLISH THEY TOGETHER DID.
T-E-A-M: T-ogether E-ach A-ccomplishes M-ore. Many years there was a small conflict of which piano player would play. NOW HARMONY CAME IN WHERE THERE WAS LITTLE TO NO HOPE. People would come to church to see these two players, one on the left and one on the right play.
