WHERE IS THY GOD?
Psalm 42:10
BEGINNING
1. Do you ever feel alone, abandoned, and forsaken like David did in this psalm?
2. Has the enemy ever struck up a conversation with you when you’re down in the dumps?
3. The only time the enemy (The Devil) has anything to say to us is when he wants to...
a. Discourage us
b. Deceive us
c. Distract us
4. It is a mistake for us to ever join a conversation with the enemy at all.
5. Only the devil would cause you to question God.
6. I want to answer the question, “Where is thy God” with the Word of God
7. I want to tell You, the devil, and everybody else where our God is
8. I want you to leave here today with assurance, confidence, and determination ecause you know where your God is
BODY
I OUR GOD IS ABOVE US
A. In His Person (Ps.115:1-3)(Deu.4:39)
1. In Uniqueness "there is none
else"
2. In Understanding (Isa.55:8-9)
B. In His Power (Eph.1:19-23)
1. Exclusive "all
principalities"(21) "every name"(21) "all things"(22)
2. Eternal "not only in this world, but also..."(21)
C. In His Praise (Eph.4:6)(Jn.3:31)(Jas.1:17)(I Chr.29:11)
1. God never looks up to anybody
2. We should be awe struck by this truth
3. Nobody can lay hands on our God
II OUR GOD IS AROUND US
A. To Deliver us (Ps.34:7) (Ps.32:7)
B. To Protect us (Ps.125:2) (Ps.5:12)
C. To Watch over us (Ps.139:3-10)
III OUR GOD IS BEFORE US
A. To Lead us day and Night (Ex.13:21-22)
B. To Lead us to Rest (Num.10:33) (Jn.10:4)
C. To Fight for us (Deu.1:30) (Ps.68:7-8)
1. We never run up on anything that God hasn’t already run over
2. We have no idea what we would face without him
3. We think it is rough now, but God’s already taken care of all the big stuff
Each step I take, the Savor goes before me. And with his loving hand he leads the way
IV OUR GOD IS BEHIND US
A. When we’re afraid our past will catch up to us (Ex.14:19)
B. When we’re tempted to turn around or quit (Isa.30:21)
C. God comes behind us with goodness and mercy to clean up our messes (Ps.23:6)
D. God comes right behind us with refreshment for the journey (I Cor.10:4)
V OUR GOD IS BENEATH US
A. God is not going to Drop Us (Deu.33:27)(Isa.40:11)
B. God is not going to allow anything or anybody to get us (Jn.10:28-30)
C. God is not going to allow us to fall (Ps.40:2-3)(Jude 24)
My hope is built on nothing less, than Jesus’ blood and righteous. I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus’ name. On Christ the solid rock i stand, all other ground is sinking sand!
VI OUR GOD IS WITH US
Just like He was with others in scripture (Heb.13:5)(Phil.1:6)

VII OUR GOD IS WITHIN US

BENEDICTION
1. Our God is where He has always been
2. If there seems to be a distance between you
and God today remember, He has not moved
3. If you do not know the Lord, come to the all encompassing one today
