"The Will of God Part #3"

(The Perfect Will of God) Rom. 12:2

Note: No man can tell you what the Perfect Will of God is for your Life. The only

person that can is the Holy Spirit which lives in you. (1 Cor. 6:19-20 & 1 Peter

1:18-19) The Lord will make sure that you know the Perfect will of God if you

want to know, (Ph. 2:12-14) but if you are not willing to do the Good Will of

God, or the Acceptable Will of God, you can forget the Perfect Will of God.

Intro:

1) The Contemporary Will of God The will of God right now.

1 Corinthians 16:12-16 As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come

unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will

come when he shall have convenient time. Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like

men, be strong. Let all your things be done with charity. I beseech you, brethren, (ye

know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have

addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,) That ye submit yourselves unto such,

and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth.

Philippians 1:27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that

whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand

fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

Gal. 5:1 & Eph. 6:13-18 (1 Cor. 10:31)

1A) Stand

1B) Be Strong

1C) Strive together (Submit)

2) The Conforming Will of God The will of God in the Future

Romans 8:26-31 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what

we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with

groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts (Jer. 17:10) knoweth

what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to

the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love

God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he

also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the

firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also

called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also

glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against

us?

2A) It will be Personal

Philippians 2:13-14 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his

good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings: (Ill. Ehud Jud 3)

Ehud got involved Personally and killed Eglon

2B) It will have a Purpose Ill. Gideon

Judges 7:2 And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too

many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves

against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me.

2C) It will be Possible Cable said I am just as strong today (Josh14:11)

Every Christian can be in "The Perfect Will of God" by adhearing to these Truths.

1) The Perfect Will of God will be Consistant (1 Kings 13 The Man of God did that

which was In-consistant with the

Word of God)

1A) I should be Consistant in my Daily Activities

2 Timothy 2:4-5 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life;

that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. And if a man also strive

for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.

1 John 2:15-17 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any

man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world,

the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father,

but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that

doeth the will of God abideth for ever. Ill. Achan (Joshua 7)

1B) I should be Consistant in my Daily Adoration

Exodus 34:14-15 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name

is Jealous, is a jealous God: Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the

land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and

one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice; Ill. Daniel (Daniel 6:5)

1C) I should be Consistant in my Daily Aggressions

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against

principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against

spiritual wickedness in high places. Ill. Samson: Deliah was a Philistine (Jud. 16)

2) The Perfect Will of God will be Challenging

2A) You will be Challenged by Satan

2B) You will be Challenged by Sinners

2C) You will be Challenged by Saints

2D) You will be Challenged by the Situation

3) The Perfect Will of God will be Compelling

3A) If you Resist you cannot Remain Happy

In Ezra 1:1-2 we notice that it is God’s will for the Walls and the city of

Jersualem to be rebuilt. God laid it upon the heart of Nehemiah to do this

thing. In chapter #2 we notice that he is very sad because he is not doing the

Perfect (Compelling) Will of God for his life.

Ephesians 4:30-32 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto

the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil

speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another,

tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven

you.

Hebrews 3:7-19 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his

voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in

the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty

years. Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in

their heart; and they have not known my ways. So I sware in my wrath, They shall not

enter into my rest.) The rest of these verses go on to say if you remain in the sin of

un-belief and don’t adhear to the WIll of God you can’t Remain Happy.

3B) If you Resist you could be Retired in Haste

Zechariah 11:17 Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be

upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right

eye shall be utterly darkened.

3B1) Eli

1 Samuel 3:11-14 And the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel,

at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle. In that day I will

perform against Eli all things which I have spoken concerning his house: when I

begin, I will also make an end. For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever

for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he

restrained them not. And therefore I have sworn unto the house of Eli, that the

iniquity of Eli’s house shall not be purged with sacrifice nor offering for ever.

3B2) Saul

1 Samuel 13:13-14 And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not

kept the commandment of the LORD thy God, which he commanded thee: for now

would the LORD have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever. But now thy

kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart,

and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast

not kept that which the LORD commanded thee.

1 Samuel 15:26-28 And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou

hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being

king over Israel. And as Samuel turned about to go away, he laid hold upon the skirt

of his mantle, and it rent. And Samuel said unto him, The LORD hath rent the

kingdom of Israel from thee this day, and hath given it to a neighbour of thine, that is

better than thou. (1 Sam 28:17-18)

3B3) Jeroboam

1 Kings 14:7-10 (Ahijah) Go, tell Jeroboam, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel,

Forasmuch as I exalted thee from among the people, and made thee prince over my

people Israel, And rent the kingdom away from the house of David, and gave it thee:

and yet thou hast not been as my servant David, who kept my commandments, and

who followed me with all his heart, to do that only which was right in mine eyes; But

hast done evil above all that were before thee: for thou hast gone and made thee

other gods, and molten images, to provoke me to anger, and hast cast me behind thy

back: Therefore, behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam, and will cut

off from Jeroboam him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left

in Israel, and will take away the remnant of the house of Jeroboam, as a man taketh

away dung, till it be all gone.
