Summary: No, not exactly the WWF. But this is wrestling at its best! This is what True Wrestling is all about! You want hear about this on TV...

WORLD WIDE WRESTLING

Ephesians 6:12

(12) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

How many of us here tonight has ever watched Pro Wrestling on TV?

I use to love it so much!

Back then, the Good Guy always came out on top of the Bad Guy.

Remember,

· Ruffus R. "Freight Train" Jones

· Johnny Weaver

· "Chief" Waco McDaniel

· "The Dragon" Ricky Steamboat

· "Superstar" Paul Jones #1

· "Handsome" Jimmy Valiant (Granddaddy Bryant’s favorite)

But here of late, it’s anything but "GOOD GUY BEATS BAD GUY."

There’s a Top Star in the wrestling industry who recently made some bold statements against the sport from which he makes his living.

"Sting," (Steve Borden) the man behind the famous white mask and scorpion symbol says,

"It’s too sexual, too raunchy. It’s just filth.

At times, there’s nothing there that you’d want your children to see.

And it’s nothing good for adults to see either. I’m trying to stand up with integrity against it all."

Personally, I think we would all be better off today probably just not watching it at all.)

But these men would wrestle one another. Back and forth they would go.

But we too wrestle.

We wrestle everyday.

But we wrestle not flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

All too often we fill like it’s us against our Boss.

Us against our job.

Us against our family.

Us against our spouse.

Us against our neighbors.

Us against our friends.

When in fact, it is much more than that.

We wrestle against the Evil that God has allowed to come our way. Not just the people.

God sometimes allows Evil to work through those around us only to strengthen us.

God had removed the hedge that was around Job, remember that?

But in the end though all the suffering and straining Job came out on top! Better than ever before!

Just as it was back then, so it is today.

Wrestling is World-Wide!

But if we can keep in the fight and not let up, we too can come out on top!
