YOUR PHYSICAL PROVISION—Part II —Joshua 15:1--19:51

Terriotrial/Jurisdiction/Atmosphere for Glory

The Pope just finished a tour of the East Coast and was taking a limousine to the airport. Having never driven a limo, he asked the chauffeur if he could drive for a while. Well, the chauffeur didn’t have much of a choice, so he climbs in the back of the limo and the pope takes the wheel.

The Pope proceeds onto Hwy. 95, and starts accelerating to see what the limo could do. He gets to about 90 mph, and suddenly he sees the blue lights of the State Patrol in his mirror.

He pulls over and the trooper come to his window. The trooper seeing who it was, says, "just a moment please, I need to call in."

The trooper calls in and asks for the chief. He tells the chief that he’s got a REALLY important person pulled over, and asks how to handle it.

"It’s not Ted Kennedy again is it?" replies the chief.

"No Sir!" replied the trooper, "This guy’s more important."

"Is it the Governor?" replied the chief.

"No! Even more important!" replies the trooper.

"Is it the PRESIDENT???" Replied the chief.

"No! Even more important!" replies the trooper.

Well WHO IN THE WORLD IS IT?" screams the chief.

"I don’t know Sir. " replies the trooper,...

"....But he’s got the Pope as his chauffeur."

Argumentation:

Php. 1:27-28—“Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ; so that whether I come & see you or remain absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel; in no way alarmed by your opponents--which is a sign of destruction for them, but of salvation for you, & that too, from God.”

Eccl. 4:9-12—“Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up. Furthermore, if two lie down together they keep warm, but how can one be warm alone? And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.”
