Spiritual Earthquakes Get Much Attention
Amos:29:6
"Thou shalt be visited of the Lord of host with thunder, and with earthquakes, and great noise, with storm and temptest, and the flame of devouring fire."KJV
a. GOD has a way of getting your attention, he may not cause you to go thru a physical earthquake, but he can cause many things to happen to "shake you up."
Spiritual Earthquakes Can Find Where You Are
Acts 16: 27,29,30 & 31
a. (27) "Keeper awakened out of his sleep"
Sometimes it takes the earthquake to wake us up.
Thats when we look around and see that everything is falling apart, and realize in whom we have to depend to put it back to gether.
b. (29) "He called for the light, sprang in, and came trembling before Paul and Silas.
Actions happened because of fervent prayer.
c. (30) "What must I do to be saved?"
This is where we do a spiritual checkup, trying to figure out, where to go next.
d. (31) "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and all of thy house."
The only real answer to our earthquakes, by the true giver of peace.

GOD sends earthquakes for many different reasons. Sometimes it takes the earthquake to shake us up, then sometimes we need the earthquakes to realize that GOD is in total control. We need to evaluate our lives and see where we stand when an earthquake hits.
