I. WHAT IS REPENTANCE
Repent (Webster’s) - to turn for sin and dedicate oneself to the amendment of
one’s life
Back of my Bible - to turn away from sin; to be sorry for what you have done
and to promise not to do it again.
II. REPENTANCE IS FOR EVERYONE
thieves on the cross - not for everyone if they don’t want it

A. Non-Repentance

Joel 2:12,13 - “Even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me will all your heart, with
fasting and weeping and mourning.” 13 “Rend your heart and not your garments.

Acts 26:20 - First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all
