WHO CAN FIND A VIRTUOUS WOMAN?

The funeral of Mrs. _____________________

Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. (Proverbs 31:10 KJV)

______________was a precious little lady. She was more precious than the finest jewels: and all the things that you could desire are not to be compared unto her. (Proverbs 3:15 KJV)

The story is told of an angel who was sent from heaven to bring back the three most beautiful things he could find upon the earth. In his search he found:

1. A beautiful rose

2. A baby’s smile

3. A mother’s love

He proceeded back to heaven only to find that the rose had faded and the baby’s smile was gone. The only thing that remained was a mother’s love.

1. She loved her companion.

2. She loved her children.

3. She loved her church.

The law of love and kindness was written in her heart and showed itself in her tongue.

1. I never heard her criticize anyone.

2. I never heard her complain about anything.

Two things I can say about _________________.

1. She lived a good life.

a. She had a sweet family.

b. She had a small farm.

1. She took pains in her duties around her home.

2. She took pleasure in her duties around her home.

2. She lived a godly life.

“Years cannot dim that vision bright,

I count my dearest treasure;

They only seem to shed more light

Upon her worth and measure.

The Christian faith that through her shone

Is still my inspiration;

The wisdom of the ways I own

With more appreciation.” –Ralph T. Nordlund
