1. Giants steal the peace of God’s people (Num.14:1)(I Sam17:11)

2. Giants stop the progress of God’s people

3. Giants seize the possessions of God’s people

a. First you have, “Giants in the land” (Gen.6:4)

b. The next thing you know you have a, “valley of Giants” (Josh.15:8)

c. That valley will soon become a, “land of Giants” (Deu.3:13)

III. DIFFERENT TYPES OF GIANTS IN OUR LIVES

1. The Giant of Difficulty (Gen.18:14)

3. The Giant of Division (The real Giants were their Friends, Family, Fellowship)

4. The Giant of Delay (40 yrs.)

* After 40 yrs. the Giants were still there, but now the people had a different attitude

* After 40 days the Giant persisted in threatening the armies of Israel (17:16)
