Heb:13:5: Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Troubles will come in our lives.

· When trouble comes at times you cry and pray for a relief that seems to never come.

· When trouble comes sometimes you have to stand alone.

· When trouble comes you must rest assured that Jesus has promised that he will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

I’ve found through searching the scriptures in my time of trouble Ten steps to follow that lead to deliverance.

Ephesians

I. Be strong in the Lord.

10: Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

How do you be strong in the Lord?

A. 6: Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

11: Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Four kinds of spirit rebels

· Archas : chief rulers of the highest rank in Satan’s kingdom.

· Exousias: those who do the will of the chief rulers.

· Kosmokratopas: world rulers of the darkness.

· Pneumatika Ponerias: the wicked spirits of Satan.

III. Understand What day it is in your life.

13: Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Why is this trouble upon you?

· Is it a trial like Job went through?

· Is it a call to repentance like the people in the book of Haggie went through?

IV. Put on the belt of truth.

14: Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth,

· The know the truth about the word of God.

1. John 3: 16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

2. Philippians 4: 19: But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

· Tell yourself without excess the truth about yourself and your relationship with God.

1. 1st John 1: 6: If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

V. Put on the Breastplate of righteousness.

Protecting your heart.

To be righteous is to be morally upright in the site of God through Jesus Christ.

· What kind of heart do you have?

1. Lk 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

VI. Cover your feet with the Gospel.

15: And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

1. Isa:54:17: No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

3. Mt:5:44: But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

VII. Carry your Shield of Faith.

16: Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Hebrew 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

VIII. Keep your Helment on.

17: And take the helmet of salvation

IX. Carry and Sharpen your Sword.

X. Pray and Watch.

18: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
