Summary: This is a sermon of encouragement for women of God who need to be reminded of how special they are in His sight!

PRAYER:

Precious Lord, eternal God, our Creator-

Today we give great thanks for the many women you have transformed into vessels of sacred service and true worship!

Thank you for Eve, the first mother of us all.

Thank you for Sarah, the woman of old who carried the seeds of Abraham.

Thank you for Mary, who carried Your son in the flesh.

Thank you for Hagar, who dared to trust you in her impossible situation.

Thank you for Evangelist Mary Magdalene, once filled with demon spirits whose life was changed by knowing Jesus.

Thank you for the courage of Deborah.

Thank you for our present day sisters who work, others who raise children, those who pastor churches, those who are missionaries, those who make a joyful noise unto You Lord...Thank You for them all!

In this time of worship and celebration, we exalt You! Now be with us, Your people as we commune together.

This I ask by the power and precious Name of Jesus!

Amen. And So It Is!

SCRIPTURE:

Proverbs 4:8, Joel 2:28 and Acts 2:17

(But the main thought is derived from Acts 2:17)

TEXT:

We find in the Books of Proverbs another biblical mystery revealed to us- King Solomon, David’s son says in Proverbs 1:5-6 Let those who are wise listen to these proverbs and become even wiser. And let those who are wise listen to these proverbs and become even wiser. And let those who understand receive guidance (6) by exploring the depth of meaning in these proverbs, parables, wise sayings and riddles.

It is here, right in the middle of Proverbs 4, you will find the real power and beauty of this book, hidden in the true meaning of the word, "wisdom" there is the Incarnate Word of the New Testament. Does it not say in I Corinthians 1:30-God alone made it possible for you to be in Christ Jesus. FOR OUR BENEFIT GOD MADE CHRIST TO BE WISDOM ITSELF. He is the one who made us acceptable to God. He made us pure and holy, and He gave himself to purchase our freedom!(?)

(Proverbs 4:8) Exalt her (Wisdom/Christ) and she shall promote thee; she (Wisdom/Christ) shall bring thee to honor, when thou dost embrace her.

Embrace Wisdom, embrace Christ Jesus!

Today, right now, God wants you to acknowledge Him and remember that we belong to Him...it is not merely a coincidence that you are here. No! Your steps have been ordered by the Lord and your lives have been predestined for in Acts 2:17 the scripture says, IN THE LAST DAYS, GOD SAYS I WILL POUR OUT MY SPIRIT ON ALL PEOPLE. YOUR SONS AND DAUGHTERS WILL PROPHESY, YOUR YOUNG MEN WILL SEE VISIONS, YOUR OLD MEN WILL DREAM DREAMS.(18) EVEN ON MY SERVANTS, BOTH MEN AND WOMEN, I WILL POUR OUT MY SPIRIT IN THOSE DAYS, AND THEY WILL PROPHESY.

I said to you earlier that it was for our benefit God made Christ to be Wisdom itself. Christ is the One who made us acceptable to God. (man has neither a Heaven or a hell to put us in and the traditions of man is not the standard we will be judged by in the last days!)

Brethren, we’ve been bought with a price that no man could ever pay. Christ gave Himself to purchase our freedom, therefore we are priceless in the realm of God and it is by the very Word of God and His Divine Wisdom that we live.....

I have prayed to God that on this day you will feel compelled to reach down into the depth of your Christian souls and minds and cast out the ancient and broken walls of division. To allow the Holy Spirit to renew within us, a vision of God’s Kingdom where the last shall be first and the first shall be last. Where the greatest ones are those who serve. And all of our gifts are blessed; not by the power that we possess, but by God’s grace by which we are called!

(I’m still talking about Wisdom for Prophesying Daughters! Amen?)

This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it! We worship today in spirit and in truth; for God has called each of us by name!

Hallejuah!!

Like Miriam, may our worship flow from joy filled hearts, for our God reigns!

Like Elizabeth, may our praise be filled with the joy of God’s Spirit leaping within our hearts!

Like Hannah, may our prayers flow from our mouths , for the Lord our God hears and He answers prayer!

Like Ruth, may our service flow from surrendered hearts, for God has done great things for us and we’re glad about it! Amen?

Like Evangelist Mary Magdalene, may our testimony flow from our hearts trembling with Holy excitement! For Christ in His wisdom has called us Daughter, and has calmed our fears!

-look around you-

You are looking at women of God who are not in captivity because the death of Christ on Calvary’s cross means that we have been given the rights to Freedom:

Freedom, first from all that holds us captive within us:

FREEDOM to be and become and belong.

FREEDOM to stand and admit that we can be wrong.

FREEDOM to see and to say what we know.

FREEDOM to fail and freedom to grow.

FREEDOM to have hurt and freedom to heal.

FREEDOM to laugh and freedom to cry.

Perhaps above all, free will and the FREEDOM to try!

Secondly, freedom from all that holds us captive around us:

FREEDOM from denomination doctrine that do not include us!

FREEDOM from false prophets that do not support us!

FREEDOM from religious practices meant to enslave us!

FREEDOM from man’s rules that exist to deny us!

FREEDOM from fake values that only destroy us!

FREEDOM from people who refuse to affirm and ordain us!

FREEDOM from guilt around and within us!

FREEDOM from fear and its power to detain us!

And third, we are the Daughters empowered by the Holy Spirit for a prophetic use of our freedom:

FREEDOM to use the Gospel Truth to set people free.

FREEDOM for assuring our Christan Beliefs others can see.

FREEDOM for finding the best way to pray.

And for coming to God in our own unique way!

FREEDOM for making courageous decisions to live by the justice, the Spirit envisions.

WISDOM FOR PROPHESYING DAUGHTERS!

You know we have prayed for signs of God’s Spirit. We sing, "Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on me...melt me, mold me, fill me, use me.....

Well I am here to tell you that God has already answered your prayers. I look into the world and into the congregation of our churches and I see Spirit filled Christians who have offered their gifts, yet hesitant to step out on their calling....Sisters, do not be afraid to be a miracle!

As I leave you with this message from God, I also leave praising God for the women in our community who are signs of God’s outpouring Spirit, our prophesying daughters....new creations in Christ, children of God who walk that walk, talk that talk and live as a testimony!!!

Our churches are full of us and our presence cannot be denied!

Stand up my sisters and let the world know, that you know who you are!!!

WE ARE SPIRIT SIGNS, WE PROPHSYING DAUGHTERS!

We are signs that God is still pouring, still giving new life-new visions-new direction....

We are signs that God is still shattering oppressive, depressive, repressive myths!

WE ARE SPIRIT SIGNS, WE PROPHESING DAUGHTERS!

We grew up among you; in our Sunday Schools, Youth Groups and neighborhoods! We have led you in worship with our voices and our hallejuahs. We are your sisters, mothers, grandmothers and friends!

WE ARE SPIRIT SIGNS, WE PROPHESYING DAUGHTERS!

We cry with the abused, give food to the hungry and visit those in nursing homes and prisons.

We teach and love our children, work for equal rights, council the hurting. We help you design church buildings, plant seeds for membership, raise funds, budget prayerfully and preach to you God’s truth from the bible!

WE ARE SPIRIT SIGNS,WE PROPHEYSING DAUGHTERS!

We offer our faith, gifts of love, dreams, visions and hopes!

We bold and beautiful American daughters are Spirit Signs and this is Wisdom for Prophesying Daughters!

ALTAR CALL:

Now is an appointed time to win and not lose. Now is the time to choose.

Rejoice in your calling. Accept each other’s spiritual gifts. Amen?

Give your life to God right now and join us in serving Him...

(Romans 10:13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved!

Believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for you and is now living. Come now asking Him to forgive you of your sins as you receive Him as your personal Savior.

BENEDICTION:

NOW THEREFORE OUR GOD; WE THANK YOU AND WE PRAISE YOUR GLORIOUS NAME. FOR ALL THINGS COME FROM YOU. KEEP US AS WE DEPART FROM THIS PLACE OF WORSHIP INTO THE WORLD.

AMEN
