“HellRazers”
Matt. 16:18 & Daniel 7:18
God is looking for some Hellrazers.
Hellraiser: - One that is hellish, extremely unpleasant, and causes great trouble.
Many of us, if we are honest with ourselves, were hellraisers before we got saved. We were unpleasant to be around, people didn’t like us because we caused trouble everywhere we went, we raised all kind of hell because that was the life that we lived; however that is not the kind of hellrazer I’m talking about here.
Raise: - according to “Webster’s Dictionary” is to lift, to stir up, to pitch, or force.
Raze: - according to “Webster’s Dictionary” is to tear down, to level to the ground, to destroy.
Some years ago there used to be a song that the choir sang called “Satan we’re going to tear your kingdom down”. The words of the song said “You’ve been building your kingdom all over this land, so Satan we’re going to tear your kingdom down” In other words we’re going to become HELLRAZERS.
In order to become a hellrazer there is a certain attitude that we must have and that is the kind like Peter. In Matthew 26:35 Peter said “Though I should die with thee..” Peter was willing to die for the Lord. When Judas came with the band of Roman soldiers to arrest Jesus and try him, before they crucified Him, Peter drew his sword and cut a mans ear off. He was ready to lose his life, He was a HELLRAZER.
To be a HELLRAZER you must have on the Whole Armour of God and go through the training process. Unless you go through the training process you will not become a Hellrazer. Proverbs 22:6 says “Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Often times we use this to mean just a little child in the natural, but this applies to a child in Christ. You must be trained in order to be a hellrazer. You got to go through Spiritual Basic Training.
The reason why so manytimes we are not able to raze hell is because we have hellraisers in the church instead of hellrazers. We have people that cause confusion, discord, and contentment among the saints of God. We have allowed the world and the worldly system to infiltrate the church. Sin has found its way into the church and has become comfortable there. Homosexual activity is allowed to go on in the church of God. People are taking the Word of God and twisting it in order to fit their personal beliefs.
We as the Church must come together in unity in order to tear the kingdom of the devil down. Gossip in the church must stop, backbiting doesn’t have a place in the church, and we need to stop being jealous, envious, having malice and having strife against one another and work together. We must come together, get on one accord and fight the devil and tear his kingdom down.
In order to do that we must go through spiritual basic training. When I was in the Army we had to go through basic training in order to get us ready in case we had to go to war. We had to run for endurance, do push-ups for strength, kneebend for flexibility. We had to go through night training to be aware of the dangers and know how to handle them in the nighttime. We were given a weapon to fight the enemy with. We had to become familiar with that weapon. We had to be able to take it apart and put it back together again.
In this spiritual basic training we also must run – run with patience the race that is set before us. We must do spiritual pus-ups – push up ourselves from the table and fast.
We must do kneebend – get on our knees and pray.
There is going to be some night training – Late in the midnight hour there are going to be times when we must get on our face and cry out unto the Lord.
We have been given the only weapon that will defeat the devil and that is the Word of God. We must learn this weapon, how it works, and how to use it effectively.
2nd Timothy 2:15 says “Study to show thyself approved unto God a workman that needeth not be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth.”
Matthew 16:18 says “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter and upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Let’s look at this for a minute. The purpose of gates is a defense to keep out. People put fences with gates around their houses to keep people out and off of their property. The gates here are the gates of hell. Therefore hell has gates around it why, to keep the children of God from razing hell, from tear down the kingdom of the devil. However Jesus said that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church. This means that the gates of hell cannot stop the church from tearing down the devils kingdom.
The Bible says in Daniel 7:18 “But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.” I know this is talking about the kingdom of God, but if we take this along with Matthew 16:18, we the church can take this world from under the clutches of the devil.
Are you a hellraiser or a HELLRAZER
If you are tired of seeing your children on drugs become a HELLRAZER!
You want to see that unsaved companion of your saved and filled with the precious Holy Ghost, become a HELLRAZER!
You want prayer back in the schools, become a HELLRAZER.!
God desired for some radical people to bombard the gates of hell and tear the devil’s kingdom down.
