How In the World Can God Use Us?

Romans 10:11-17

I.Calling on Christ v13

„Ã Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved;

„Ã Matthew 8:8 But the centurion answered and said, "Lord, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed.

„Ã Luke 18:13 "But the tax-gatherer, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but was beating his breast, saying, ’God, be merciful to me, the sinner!’

II. Belief in Christ v14-15

„Ã Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

„Ã John 20:31 but these have been written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.

III. Hearing Christ v14-15

„Ã John 10:2-5 "But he who enters by the door is a shepherd of the sheep. [3] "To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out. [4] "When he puts forth all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. [5] "And a stranger they simply will not follow, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers."

„Ã John 10:14-16 "I am the good shepherd; and I know My own, and My own know Me, [15] even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. [16] "And I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they shall hear My voice; and they shall become one flock with one shepherd.

„Ã Luke 10:16 "The one who listens to you listens to Me, and the one who rejects you rejects Me; and he who rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me."

IV. Preaching Christ v15

„Ã Matthew 9:38 "Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest."

„Ã 2 Cor. 5:18-20 Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ, and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, [19] namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. [20] Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were entreating through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

V. Sending Christ¡¦s Messengers v15

„Ã Matthew 9:38 "Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest."

„Ã Acts 13:1-3 Now there were at Antioch, in the church that was there, prophets and teachers: Barnabas, and Simeon who was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. [2] And while they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, "Set apart for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them." [3] Then, when they had fasted and prayed and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

„Ã Romans 15:23-29 but now, with no further place for me in these regions, and since I have had for many years a longing to come to you [24] whenever I go to Spain-- for I hope to see you in passing, and to be helped on my way there by you, when I have first enjoyed your company for a while-- [25] but now, I am going to Jerusalem serving the saints. [26] For Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem. [27] Yes, they were pleased to do so, and they are indebted to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in their spiritual things, they are indebted to minister to them also in material things. [28] Therefore, when I have finished this, and have put my seal on this fruit of theirs, I will go on by way of you to Spain. [29] And I know that when I come to you, I will come in the fulness of the blessing of Christ.

[19] "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, [20] teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

„Ã 2 Cor. 6:2 for He says, "At the acceptable time I listened to you, And on the day of salvation I helped you"; behold, now is "the acceptable time," behold, now is "the day of salvation"--
