WHAT GOD HATES
PROVERBS 6:16-19
Don’t you just hate it when
another vehicle cuts you off on the freeway
and especially Big Trucks!!
Or I really hate talking to those automated
phone systems, and pushing all the different
buttons to get to that person you want and
then you get some voice mail, saying
they will call you back
But they never do!!!
If you get your nerve up to even leave a message!
WHAT DO YOU HATE??
Here in Gods word it tells us,
GOD HATES SIN!!!
GOD HATES PRIDE, AND LYING,
AND HANDS THAT SHED INNOCENT BLOOD
SOMEONE WHO DEVISES WICKED
IMAGINATIONS
AND PEOPLE QUICK TO RUN TO MISCHIEF!
A FALSE WITNESS THAT SPEAKETH LIES
(THAT’S TWICE)
SOMEONE THAT SOWETH DISCORD
AMONG BRETHREN!!!
People I know its hard for us to believe that
God could possibly hate anything!!!
We all think, Ain’t God Love??
Ain’t God Peace??
And Ain’t God Mercy??
And Yes He is all of the above
I was told by a close sinner friend of mine
the other day, He said,
I don’t believe that God would punish us
for Eternity for our little sins!!!
And further He said I don’t believe everything
in the Bible,
He said, he thought the Bible was only
an illustration!!!!
But listen people God gives us the choice
of Heaven or Hell!!!!
We have to make that choice!!!
God don’t want us to punish and suffer
in Hell.
But He wants us to serve HIM!!!! AMEN
And we need to live by the Bible!!!
But listen Church God does hate stuff!!!!
And you know what???
We’re supposed to hate what God hates!!!
For us to think that God don’t hate, is
kinda going against the grain of who
God really is, Don’t you Think???
Even for those of us who are saved and
whose sins are covered by the precious
blood of Jesus Christ!!!
WE done already forgot what it means
to serve a God who actually
Hates our Sins!!!
IN Todays world we’re ruled way to often
by the authority of popularity, or
some may call it peer pressure Rather
than being under the authority of
The Almighty God!! AMEN
Were constantly being told to be patient!
Or were being told to be tolerant!!
And were not supposed to hate anything!!!
In todays world were being filled with
the idea that, all religions are equal - and
all actions are equal.
We’re not supposed to look at anything
with hate!!!!
Are you with me here tonight???
We’re told that queers and lesbians
have their rights and
were supposed to accept them as they are
I used to think when I was a sinner that
Homosexuals should have their equal rights
But now that I serve God I know that
We have to love them but WE
Have to Hate their sins!!!! AMEN
JUST LIKE GOD DOES!!!
If We want to serve God and Satisfy what
God wants!
THEN PEOPLE WE HAVE TO HATE
WHAT GOD HATES!!!!
I think that way to many of todays churches
have put themselves in a very dangerous
position!!!
I can see church leaders and so called Christians
fearing Man more than they are fearing God
Way to many times today, the church leaders
have tried way to hard to please their
congregation more than pleasing God!!!
Look at what some denominations
have already done, And I know
that it wasn’t done to PLEASE GOD!!!
I ain’t mentioning any names but
some have already ordained homo-sexuals
as pastors.
Some have already performed same sex
marriages.
These church leaders ain’t seeking God
for Their actions.
They’re seeking man.
They’re running in fear that they’ll lose
their precious positions in the churches
and they’re afraid they’ll lose their precious
tithe payers
or their salary or their home that the
church is paying for!!!
People this ain’t seeking GOD!!!!!
And would you like for me to tell you
what they’re gonna lose??????
They’re gonna lose their precious soul,
To the devil and the pits of Hell!!!!
And not only are they gonna split hell
wide open, but they’re gonna take all
those followers with them!!!!
Now don’t get me wrong, I ain’t preaching
to NOT listen to the pastor!!!
We need to go to church
and we need to get spiritually fed.
But we need to learn how to eat for
ourselves!!!
We need to Read and Study our Bibles
we need to pray for the wisdom and
knowledge and understanding.
Our Pastor’s can’t always be there for us!!
BUT GOD CAN!!!!
People are always hollering today that
they want to see a more powerful move
of God.
And they can’t understand why they’re
not seeing GOD MOVE!!!
YOU WANT ME TO TELL YOU WHY???
CAUSE WE AIN’T HATING WHAT
GOD HATES!!!!!
We have to desire what God Desires!!!
This year I’ve traveled all over Ohio
and I’ve been in God knows how many
other states spreading God’s Good Word!!
And I’m continuously hearing people say
God ain’t moving like He did 20 years
ago, or 40 or 50 years ago
And everybody’s wondering WHY!!!
PEOPLE WE AIN’T PRAYING ANYMORE
LIKE WE DID 50 YEARS AGO!!
I just read an article in a church magazine
that was a quite large organization.
The article said that most pastors today
only pray an average of 3 and ½
minutes a day!!!!
So why ain’t God moving????
That don’t even deserve an answer!!!
People God hates a proud look
or proud eyes!!
If you want to be proud tonight
be proud that you have Jesus living in
your heart.
And be proud that you serve GOD!!!
Some of us might be proud of our wives
or our husbands or our children!
I AM!!!
These are the things that God gave us
and were supposed to be proud of our
Families!!!!
God gave us our families in a special way!!
And were supposed to love em!!!
And were supposed to be proud of em!!
And lets not lose sight of what God has
done for us!!!!
IF WE DO - people I believe That’s SIN!!!!!
And don’t forget that God will be the
one who will discipline us!!!
People God hates Sin
I have a friend in a gospel group
and he wrote a song called,
Take out the trash!!
People that’s just what we gotta do!!!!!
Remember What does God hate???
He hates a lying tongue!!!
And just look at how easy is it to lie???
Statistics tell us that 91% routinely lie.
75% lie to their best friends.
86% of teenagers lie to their mom and dad.
76% say they exceed the speed limit!!!
WHO DRIVES OVER THE LIMIT???
Lying is one of the easiest sins!!!!
And we all think that lying ain’t gonna hurt
nobody!!
But people we might lie to our friends
and family BUT
IT HURTS SOMEONE AND ITS GOD!!!!!!
And it hurts US!!!!!
And remember God hates IT!!!!
God hates hands that shed innocent blood!!!
The mob hung Jesus Christ on the cross
and they allowed his precious blood
to be spilled (FOR OUR SINS)!!
And today our laws allow abortions!
That’s surely shedding innocent blood.
And not to mention ITS MURDER!
Can you imagine just for a minute how
a partial birth abortion takes place??
A heartless doctor allows a baby’s head
to just clear the mothers womb and then
they make an incision at the base of the
baby’s skull and they take that suction
devise and suck out the little baby’s brain.
And I’ve heard that sometimes they still
live for several minutes.
If that ain’t shedding innocent blood then
I don’t know what is!!!
I pray that These people that perform
these heartless acts repent before its too late!!
ROMANS 12:9 says:
Abhor that which is evil and
cleave to that which is good!!!
People were supposed to shun evil
and hang on for dear life to that which
is good!!!!!
LUKE 16:15 says:
Ye are they which justify yourselves
before men But God knoweth your hearts!!
We may think we have got by with something
But God knows when we sin!!
Our reading tonight said:
God hates a heart that deviseth
Wicked Imaginations.
Like something that’s planned or pre-meditated
like a Murder or a Robbery or a Rapist
that stalked his victim, or anything that’s
evil or eager to get into something evil
GEN 6:5 says:
And God saw that the wickedness of man
was great in the Earth, and that every
Imagination of the thoughts of his heart
was only evil continually!!!
This formations where God formed man
is the same word as Imagination!!
And our built in design or purpose is
cursed right from the garden of Eden.
Or in other words automatically EVIL!!
Like for example, we don’t have to teach
our kids to do wrong, or to sin!!
It comes natural to them
What we have to do is teach them about
Jesus, to start with and everything else
will just fall right into place!!!
Our reading said
God hates feet that be swift in running
to mischief
ISAIAH 59:7 says:
Their feet run to evil and they make haste
to shed innocent blood.
Their thoughts are thoughts of Iniquity:
Wasting and destruction are in their paths!
Listen to me Church
Sin separates us from God’s presence!!!!
Jesus’ brother James tells us that one way
of swiftly running to mischief is our tongues
JAMES 3:3 says;
Behold we put bits in the horses mouths
that they obey us - and we turn about
their whole body!!
And we can’t bridle this little thing
called our tongue!!!
The Bible says:
The tongue is fire, A world of Iniquity!!!
People God Hates SIN!!!!!
Our reading said
God hates a false witness that speaketh LIES
Today people our world is so full of
false prophets and false witness’s
and those who claim to be the Christ
and Church there’s only one Jesus Christ!!
And here again in VS 19 the 2nd time Lies
are mentioned.
So don’t this tell us that God hates lies double??
And you might ask Bro. Wendell Why is lying
so bad and dangerous???
Because lying can have such an impact on
our personal lives and friendships and not
to mention our personal relationship with GOD!
Lying will eventually corrupt you and will leave
you vulnerable to sin!!
ITS JUST A DEVIL TRICK TO TRY TO
CONVINCE US THAT OUR LITTLE
WHITE LIES
AIN’T NO BIG DEAL!!!!
BUT God makes it very plain throughout
His Word that He is against lying!!!!
SO WE BETTER BE TRUTH TELLERS! AMEN
The first lie was told back in the Garden of Eden
and has done nothing but snowball ever since!!
People would rather hear the truth
like for example: The Judge and Jury.
The attorneys call witnesses to the stand
and they question them and the Judge
and the Jury wants to hear the truth!!
Whether they rule on it or not is a
totally different story!!
But they want to hear the truth!!
Even this summer in out tent ministry
we’ve seen people pull up to the tent
and park, and not get out of their car.
They want to hear the truth BUT
they don’t want to act on it!!!!
They don’t want to take that first
step and ask God to forgive them.
And save them from that terrible place
called hell!!!
BUT THEY WANT TO HEAR THE TRUTH!
I think that’s why we as Christians are called
witnesses-because we tell the truth about Jesus!
ACTS 1:8 says;
But ye shall receive power after that the
Holy Ghost is come upon you and ye
shall be witnesses unto me!!
And finally there are those that
SOWETH DISCORD AMONG BRETHREN!
No doubt we’ve all sowed discord at one time
or another.
But We just have to pray ourselves through it
and Ask God to forgive us
ARE YOU READY TONIGHT TO BEGIN
TO HATE WHAT GOD HATES???
AND LOVE WHAT GOD LOVES???
REMEMBER GOD HATES SIN!!!
If you only get one little thing out of tonights
message
it needs to be that God takes sin seriously!
Sin isn’t something to be joking about!!
God wishes that we would be truthful
with ourselves, and with others
and especially with God!!
1st Corinth 13:6 says:
Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth
People this ole world ain’t gonna last
very much longer.
The whole bible is already fulfilled
and the only thing left to happen
the way I read it is the Rapture!!!
John 4:23 says:
The hour cometh, and now is, when the
true worshipers shall worship the Father
in Spirit and in Truth!
People its time to take out the trash!!!
We need to cleanse our hearts and our souls
And be prepared for Jesus to split the
eastern sky!!!
Jesus Christ knocks tonight
Will you allow Him to come in???
And begin to live THE TRUTH
AND HATE WHAT GOD HATES!!!
