Introduction:
- Tonight is biography night, where we explain the life and reign of the Anti Christ and the New World Order that is yet to come.
- The Bible gives us many great insights into the future.
- Previously we talked about the Rapture of the Church and how close we are to this event. - The rapture is the evacuation of believers before the Judgement of the tribulation hour.
- Part 2 was about the Judgement Seat of Christ, were believers have to give an account of their faithfulness or unfaithfulness to God while here on earth.
- There motives for service will be revealed by fire and they will come out as precious stones, or hay wood and straw. (I Cor 3:9)
- While believers are in Heaven, preserved from the tribulation, what are the events that are going to take place on earth, and what’s it going to look like?
- What’s the purpose of the tribulation?
- What are people going to go through, what will our loved ones who were left behind experience?
- What will the world look like after the rapture? Who will stabilize the world?
- These and many other questions we will answer as we examine the Anti Christ and coming judgements from God.
- Lets answer one question first before we look at Rev 6. What’s the purpose for all this sorrow?
- Scripture declares everything that God does has one or more purposes, and that’s true about the Tribulation.
- Many pastors and scholars have found in the Bible purposes for the tribulation.
- They are according to Dan 9:24:
A. To Put An End To Transgression
B. To Put And End To Sin
C. To Anoint The Most High
D. To make reconciliation for iniquity
E. To bring everlasting righteousness
F. To seal up vision and prophecy (Dan 9:24)
- God is in the business of saving souls, but He must judge sin.
- God through this judgement longs for people to turn from there life of sin and run into the arms of a loving God.
- But as we will see, many people will curse God and not repent.
- Some through this time will get saved and receive Christ.
- But many who receive Christ will be killed for there faith.
Transition:
- Lets take a closer look into the Bible and see what will happen in the world to come.
- Rev 6 and Dan 9:27 are key verses
- The first part of the tribulation period begins with the opening of the 7 seals.
Seal 1: The Rider On The White Horse
- The first seal depicts a rider, riding on a white horse holding a bow and wearing a victor’s crown.
- The rider is going forth to conquer, but to do it peaceably.
- The conqueror mentioned here is the future world ruler, otherwise known as the Anti Christ. He is the same ruler recorded by Daniel in 9:27
- This ruler will come in peaceably and will establish a world government without the help of warfare.
- The future world government begins with a time of peace but is soon followed by destruction.
- The Anti Christ will come from the federated states of Europe, the revived Roman Empire.
- What is the revived Roman Empire?
- To keep it simple, it’s the European Union established back in 1947.
- The ten toes of Dan 2:41-42, 44 and the ten horns Dan 7:7, 20, 24 and Rev 12:3; 13:1; 17:3,7,12,16.
- God has been unsealing the mysteries of the book of Daniel as fulfilment in prophecy.
- How did the European Union form? It started in 1947 when Benelux came into power: Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg - the first three horns of the fourth beast, and the first 3 nations of the European Union.
- In 1957, France, Italy and Germany joined the confederation, making it six.
- In 1973, Britain, Ireland, and Denmark for a total of nine.
- Jan 1 1981, Greece joined making it ten
- However Dan 7:8, 20 and 24 record that the federation will grow to 13.
- This has already taken place.
- 1986 Spain and Portugal joined making it 12
- 1996 Austria joined making it 13.
- This eventually becomes a world empire called the New World Order.
- Out of this the Anti-Christ comes to lead this New World Order.
- He will have a 3 point plan for world domination.
- He will establish a one world currency, a one world religion, and one world government now being called the New World Order.
- The Anti Christ’s economy will be a cash less society in which every financial transaction can be electronically monitored. (Rev 13:16-17)
- The truth is satan has been scheming to produce a one world order from the beginning.
- It all started during the time of Nimrod when building a mighty tower.
- Satan offered Jesus a new world order if He would bow down and worship him.
- President Woodrow Wilson after W.W.I crafted the League of Nations to uphold peace through a one world government.
- Adolph Hitler told the German people he would bring a new order to Europe.
- The Anti Christ will set up his image in the city of Jerusalem and demand that the nations worship him as God. If they don’t they will be killed. (Dan 11:36 and II Thes 2:4)
Seal 2-7:
- The seals that follow will reveal that war, famine, plague, martyrdom and death will indeed devastate the earth.
- Following these calamities will come natural and universal confusion
- The earth will shake, the sun will turn black, the moon will turn blood red.
- Stars will fall from Heaven and fear will flood the earth to such an extent that the people will cry for the earth itself to cover them up in order to hide them from the wrath of God.
- The 7th seal ushers in the 7 Trumpets which are reminders of the plagues of Egypt.
- We will talk about the Trumpet judgements at a later time.
- The question is are we seeing these events taking place?
- Are we seeing glimpses of these seals today?
- I believe the answer is yes.
- The events that are recorded in Rev 6-19 will not come all at once. But rather it will be a progressive motion.
- The tribulation will be the climax of events that will slowly take shape now.
- The Rapture is not the 2nd coming of God, but rather an event, a gathering of the saints before the tribulation.
- Meaning that if we see these signs now taking place, then the 2nd coming must be near.
- That’s what Matt 24 states, but we must realize that Jesus is not talking about the rapture but rather Him coming back to put an end to satans kingdom.
- If that’s true, then the rapture can happen at any time because the world must go on for an additional 7 years before the Lord returns.
Examples Of The Glimpses We Are Seeing Now:
- There are wars going on as we speak in the Middle East, there’s still the rumor of terrorist attacks world wide, there is civil unrest in parts of the world that speak wars, murder and bloodshed.
- The newly elected Palestine leader Abbas says that Palestine will rule from Jerusalem, that could spark WWIII. This has created fear in some people.
- Sept 11 2001 was an attack and people became fearful worldwide as to what is happening. This is a glimpse into the beginning of the tribulation.
- Strange whether patterns from hurricanes, tornadoes, and floods are bankrupting insurance agencies. Now we are dealing with mud slides and snow in the middle of July (Edmonton)
- What about Tsunami? One of the largest earthquakes in history. Killed thousands and thousands of people.
- People are becoming fearful trying to figure out what’s going on.
- I have read in the Newspaper this week that people who have been affected by Tsunami will not go near a beach.
- They say they are hearing the dead speak at night to them and it’s creating fear and torment throughout the land. The paper went on to say that this is becoming wide spread, where families who lost children and relatives are now hearing them speak.
- This is a glimpse as to the beginning of the tribulation and what it will look like for people left behind.
- The movie industry is starting to wonder what’s happening in our world. We see this in the movies they are producing:
- Movies like I-Robot; Armageddon; Deep Impact; The Day After Tomorrow; Volcano;
Dante’s Peak; The Core.
- Are Christians beginning to see the fear that will over take the world during the Tribulation? I believe we are.
- I know that no Christian will go through the Tribulation, but I believe we are seeing the a glimpse into what the tribulation will begin to look like.
- Another glimpse we see is the formation of the cash less society.
- Stores have posted almost everywhere, we don’t accept 100 dollar bills or 50 dollar bills, because of the counterfeiting that’s going on and the size amount.
- Stores would rather have you pay with credit or interac banking card.
- Money is becoming foreign as we move closer and closer to the Tribulation period and the formation of a cash less society.
- We are moving closer and closer to a one world religion system, where all faiths are accepted as one.
- We are seeing that in our day, where all faiths are being treated as one and if you dare speak against it, you are an extremist or radical.
- If a certain faith does preach salvation by the Cross only, they are not in the true faith.
- The only way to get to Heaven is through Jesus Christ and by accepting Him as Savior and Lord or your life.
- If we hear being preached that there is another way, the Bible clearly says, that is a doctrine of demons.
- But we are seeing churches adopt things from the world that would be unheard of 100 years ago.
- The world is becoming more and more Anti God and pro Anti Christ, as we see what churches are allowing.
- I have now heard that 4 Protestant churches have adopted what is called “Placement Theology”
- What that means is they replace the word Israel in the Bible with church and Jerusalem with Heaven.
- Preachers on T.V are being attacked for supporting the Jewish nation.
- Anti Semetism is on the rise in our world and especially in Europe. Jews are being persecuted more and more every year. The Bible says this is only the beginning, it will get worse.
Conclusion:
- Next week we will continue to look at the Tribulation Period and what will happen next for those left behind.
- We are approaching the day when the Anti Christ will reveal himself and set up his throne to be worshiped.
- Understand the church is gone, but for the ones left behind, it will be fear like the world has never known.
- How do we know we are close?
- There are many news events that are happening, but this one is the most interesting I found from the Jerusalem Post, Jan 14th.
- This is what is happening:
The 71 rabbis seeking to fulfill the Biblical commandment of renewing the Sanhedrin continue to meet regularly, solidifying their organizational structure and establishing an agenda of topics.
- The Sanhedrin were a group of religious people who held up the civil law, temple law etc.
- They have not been in existence for 1600 years and now they are starting to come back.
- Saying that the time is right to re-establish it.
- This is what they are taking about that makes it so interesting:
The rabbis were asked to prepare topics they thought the Sanhedrin should deal with, and a fascinating array of topics was produced. In addition to those mentioned above by Rabbi Richman, the list included such issues as:
* the precise length of the biblical cubit (with ramifications on many issues, including the location of the altar on the Temple Mount)
* lost Jewish tribes from other parts of the world
* the Sanhedrin’s decision-making procedures
* unifying the religious parties
* restoring the Davidic monarchy
* an ethical code for Israel’s army (as opposed to the present one, which is based largely on secular sources)
* the establishment of regional "small Sanhedrins"
* the long-missing "t’chelet" blue color
* sending delegations around the country to hear people’s concerns,
and much more.
- They are looking for a Savior to seat in the new Temple. At first it will be a false messiah, but then Jesus will restore the Davidic Monarchy when He returns.
- Praise the Lord Jesus is coming soon.
