I am free from failure PHILIPPIANS 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which
strengtheneth me.
Here the Apostle Paul’s ability of knowing how to live skillfully on just a little or a whole lot don’t just mean that he is some kind of a spiritual superman.
It’s saying his ability of being able to live in extremes
Is not because of him but rather that he can do
All things Through Christ who strengtheneth him
Therefore making him able to adapt to many
Various and continuously changing circumstances.
You see God orders Paul into these various situations
And then gives him strength to be content in
All of them!!! No matter how trying and complex
That they could be!!!!
JOHN 15:5 SAYS:
I am the vine ye are the branches; He that
Abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing!!
Here as long as we are bearing the fruit that
God expects us to bear, we are in the center
Of His perfect will!!!!
The book of Hosea says:
I am like a green fir tree from me is thy fruit found!!!!
God is continuously trimming us and pruning
Us so we can bear that precious fruit!!!
GALATIANS 5: says:
But the fruit of the Spirit is Love, Joy Peace,
Long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance: against such there
Is no law!!!!
You are free from Failure!!!!
(2) I am free from want Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according
to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Because the Lord is aware of the sacrifice
It’s talking about in vs.18 that the Philippians
Made in meeting Apostle Paul’s needs, then God will surely supply all their need.
God will meet their need according to his riches,
But will be in proportion to His unlimited
Resources; in glory.
Or in other words He will meet their need gloriously or in a very splendid manner and by Jesus Christ.
PSALMS 23:1 SAYS
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want!!
The Lord will feed and gather his flock just
Like the shepherd would gather his sheep!!!
God makes you free from want!!!
(3) I am free from fear 2nd Timothy 1:7
for God hath not given us the spirit of fear;
but of power, and of love, and of a
sound mind.
God doesn’t expect you to have a fearing spirit.
God expects you to have Power
And He expects you to have Love.
A sound mind here is speaking of a
disciplined mind.
JOHN 14:27 SAYS:
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
You see these things all through the Bible.
Love, Peace, happiness.
1ST JOHN SAYS
there is no fear in love; but perfect love
casteth out fear!
Fear is based on the dread of punishment and
God’s love for us makes this dread obsolete!!
Fear is going to exist with the Christian walk,
Its our unwillingness to violate God’s trust in us!!
But don’t get me wrong I’m not saying that
We should let our relationship or our approach
with God be Casual,
We are to have our relationship with God
Within the realms of uttermost respect!!!
And you are free from Fear!!!!!
(4) I am free from doubt – ROMANS 12:3
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to
every man that is among you, not to think of
himself more highly than he ought to think;
but to think soberly, according as God hath
dealt to every man the measure of faith!!!
You see having faith is what takes away
The doubt.
But if you have experienced disobedience:
DEUTERONOMY CHAP 28:66 SAYS:
And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee;
And thou shalt fear day and night.
But this is only if you have been disobedient.
(5) I am free from weakness Psalms 27:1
the Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life; of
whom shall I be afraid??
Here the psalmist is expressing his confidence
Of his trust in God.
And the confidence and trust in his prayer for deliverance.
PSALMS 84:11 SAYS
For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord
Will give grace and glory:
He knows his God and he knows that God will
Deliver him on that great judgment day!!!
DANIEL 11:32 SAYS:
The people of that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. (or take action)
We are already strong in the Lord and we must
Always be ready to take action for God!!!
He stands ready to take action for us!!!!
Standing ready for God will help us remain
Strong in the Lord!!!!
1st Corinthians 1:25 says
Because the foolishness of God is wiser
Than men; and the weakness of God is
stronger than men.
Even if God had a weak moment, He would
Still have so much more strength than we
Could possibly imagine having!!!!
(6) I am free from the power of satan 1st John 4:4
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome
Them: because greater is he that is in you, than
He that is in the world!!
Christ lives within us, obviously the devil likewise
Lives within his own followers,
But Praise God!!!!! Christ is greater than he who wreaks havoc in the world!!!!
Have overcome is the perfect tense, stressing the abiding nature of THE VICTORY.
Our strength lies in this fact:
WE ARE BORN OF GOD!!!!!
Aren’t you glad you are Born of God???
Jesus said in John 14:30
Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath
nothing in me.
The prince of this world is of course the devil,
And Jesus is telling us that he has nothing in Him!!
Right after Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist
He was led to go into the wilderness where he
Was tempted by satan and old satan found out
Very quickly that Jesus was free from the power
Of satan!!!!
The devil found out that greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world!!!!!
We are free from the power of satan!!!!
(7) I am free from defeat 2nd Corinthians 2:14
Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place.
Being free from Defeat here means not failing!!
God leads us always in triumph, without Him
We would surely fail at everything!!!!
As long as we are serving God He will always
Have his big hand on us and As the old saying goes
We’ll be a winner either way!!!!!! AMEN
I’m gonna be the winning team aren’t you??
God will see to it if we follow him!!!
(8) I am free from Ignorance 1st Corinthians 1:30
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom.
Of Him is the Fathers Work for Us!!!!
Are ye in Christ Jesus is are you intimate
with Him??
Paul concludes here that all the riches of
salvation exist in Jesus Christ!!!!
When we exist with Christ the Wisdom is
Existing with us also!!!!
WE ARE FREE FROM IGNORANCE!!!!
(9) I am free from sin – 1st John 1:7
But if we walk in the light as he is in the light
We have fellowship one with another, and the
blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth
us from all sin.
We are covered by the blood of Jesus…
Jesus paid the price for us at Calvary..
1st Corinthians 6:11 says:
and such were some of you: but ye are washed,
but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in
the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the
Spirit of our God.
By the blood of Jesus we are
declared Righteous!!!
This makes us free from the Sin of this world!!
(10) I am free from worry 1st Peter 5:7
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth
For you.
When we are serving God there’s no need for
Worry, if we have worry all we need to do
Is give it to God,
Exodus 14:14 says
The Lord will fight for you and ye shall
Hold your peace!!!!!
We worry about our Job’s – give it to God
We worry about our salvation – give it to God
We worry about our children – give it to God
We worry about our bills – give it to God
We worry about our church – give it to God
We worry about our pastor – give it to God
I know its easy to say but we don’t have any need
To worry about anything!!!!!
All we have to do is give it to God!!!!!
(11) I am free from bondage 2nd Corinthians 3:17
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where
The Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
The Bible says Stand fast therefore in the liberty
Wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage!!
Jesus Christ gave us freedom from bondage.
Do stand fast and never again be subject to the
Yoke of bondage..
Our freedom in view here is freedom from the law.
The apostle Paul in the book of Galatians
Told them to stand fast!!!! Or retain your spiritual freedom.!!!!
We are not to think that freedom means that
we can indulge in sin, but it means that we
are free to serve God!!!!
And of our own free will!!!!!
(12) I am free from condemnation Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to
Them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk
not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Christian’s are to live with the Spirit’s help!
How do you live by the Spirit??
You must believe that the Spirit is within you.
And you must believe that it has been sent by God.
Every spiritual confrontation that we have we
Have to yeild to the Spirit!
You must resist your own desires and let the
Spirit lead you!!!!
If you live by the Spirit you will not allow fulfillment of the lust of the flesh!!!!!
Your sinful nature and the Holy Spirit is continuously
fighting against one another, they have desires
and yearnings that are contrary to one another.
The Christian is a battlefield, having desires to do Good and Evil.
The outcome is that ye cannot do the things that ye would, The flesh must seek the Spirit which in turn attempts to make the evil desires of the flesh frustrated.
To be free from condemnation we have to walk
After the spirit and not the flesh!!!!!
Are you free from failure tonight??
Are you free from want??
Are you free from fear??
Are you free from doubt??
Are you free from weakness??
Are you free from the power of satan
Are you free from defeat??
Are you free from ignorance??
Are you free from sin??
Are you free from worry??
Are you free from bondage??
Are you free from condemnation??
If you are not free from all these things tonight
Then you need to accept Jesus Christ as your
Personal Savior!!!!!
I can lead you to Him tonight!!!!
Don’t let Him keep knocking at your
Hearts door,
Don’t keep refusing Him tonight!!
Eventually He’ll stop knocking.
And if He stops knocking you can’t go to heaven!
Don’t let satan stop you from going to heaven!
Let Jesus into your heart and defeat the devil!!
Just say I have made up my mind to serve Jesus!
I love all of you tonight!!!!
