Summary: THIS SERMON IS INTENDED TO HELP THE BELIEVER TO KNOW WITHOUT A DOUBT, IF THEY ARE WALKING IN THE WILL OF GOD.

Lead by the Spirit

John 16:13-14 (KJV)

13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Introduction

I want to talk to you today about how to know if you are where God wants you to be in three very important areas of your life.

1)Am I increasing in my faith? We should all have a desire to increase and to benefit in the Word of God.

2) Am I where I should be at this point in my life financially; Am I on the right job or should I be in business for myself by now?

3) Am I still looking for the perfect Church (ministry)? Or am I willing to submit and to obey God in spite of an imperfect church, and be the one to make a change / have a voice for the Lord in order. Are you assembled in your church?

Proverbs 3:5-6

5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Proverbs 4:23 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

We need to determine in or hearts to search the Word of God diligently for directions for our lives. The Word of God has our life mapped out, and if we search it we will find directions.

1) Am I increasing in my faith? Am I walking In the benefits of the word of God? That is are you growing spiritually in the lord? With Christianity comes responsibilities, and with responsibilities comes a need to grow.

1 Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word that ye may grow thereby: So that we might grow, gain knowledge and make a difference in our areas of influences, change… Expound

a. God want us to increase in our faith.. We need to get to the point where we stop living in fear and start walking in faith.

b. God wants us to be overcomers in this life, He wants us to have victory over poverty and lack and He wants us to move on from one level to the next level from victory to victory. Not to stay in the same place in our lives...

Which means if were reading and studying the Bible and coming to church there should be a change.

Romans 10:17 (KJV. 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Because faith commeth by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. You should be ever increasing in your faith in God.

I want you think for a moment and access where you are in your Faith level, and you can’t see any difference in your faith level, or your mindset or way of thinking concerning the promises of God and blessings of God in your life in a reasonable period of time. You are not where we’re supposed to be spiritually.

Some of you know exactly where you’re faith level is suppose to be and you know that it’s not there.

God allows us to feel that way so that we would do something about it. That is His way of putting a Holy fire underneath us. That is how you know when you are suppose to move, and when your not. Its called being lead by the Spirit.

We’ve gotten to the point where we move only on prophecies. But the bible tells us that there is something called a still small voice that speaks to us, and it is this voice that leads us, direct us and guide us into all truth.

We end up in same place in our life, always fighting the same battles over and over because we refuse to obey the Word of God or the prompting of God that motivates us. Yes we will fight battles in this world, but our battles should produce victories won.

We need to win some and grow up!

Growing up in the Lord and in life is being able to walk by faith. Expound…. It takes faith to increase in anything…

James 1:5-7 (KJV)5 of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

Faith involves risk, and with risk it means that you put your confidence in God because according to the Word you can loose, but according to the Word of God it is impossible to loose… Mark 9:23 (KJV)

23 said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Meaning you’ll will not always know what is waiting for you when you make a decision, but without decisions you cannot accomplish anything in this life. Without taking a risk. The greater the risk the greater the reward.

3 John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

The word; prosper means to grow, thrive, bloom flourish and benefit. To boom…

Heb 11:1-6 (KJV)

What faith is

1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.

3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Heb 11:32-33 (KJV)

32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:

33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,

2) Am I where I should be or where God wants me to be at this point in my life concerning: That is whatever stage you’re in; Am I on THE RIGHT JOB? Am I SUPPOSED TO BE IN BUSINESS? AM I IN THE RIGHT CHURCH?

Ask yourself some questions so that you can see if you have what the Word of God say’s you should have when your where God wants you to be.

a. Do you have peace? Philippians 4:7 and the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (KJV)

Is your job causing conflict in your home; is it conflicting with your quality time with your family? If it is, it’s time to pray and ask God to remove you from that and open up a door for you to have peace. God does not want us to neglect our spouses or our children or our ministry.

If your home is not taken care of first there is no need to talk about ministry and if your home is in order and you know you have heard from God to get involved in ministry God will make a way for you to serve Him. Whom he calls He makes ready for you to serve.

If we are in a position that we feel we must neglect our home our spouses our ministry for money, Then maybe God didn’t have anything to do with us getting that job to begin with. Maybe it was just foolish spending and poor money management.

Maybe you just need to decide that you are going to trust God with everything and start tithing and giving to God so that He can bless you because that is what He wants to do. He wants to be the one who blesses us, that is why He request from us to give everything to Him. He wants to be the one who gives everything back to us. Trust Him with everything including our money.

Proverbs 10:22 2 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. (KJV)

So if you’re neglecting your home, family or ministry to work for money because of any of these things, then you’re probably on the wrong job or you’re in the wrong business

Matt. 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

What is the kingdom of God? Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Do you have peace? Do you have joy? If you do, then your in the right place, If not, then you’re in a position that God can show Himself mightily.

Matthew 6:25-34 25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

In closing -

3) Are you assembled in your church?

12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Heb 5:12-14 (KJV)

Is the Word of God being preached?

Are you encouraged in the word of God?

1. Do you feel that you leave the church with a fresh word that you can apply to areas of your life?

If you’re in the place that God want you in, then you’ll need to commit also to serving your Leaders and begin to run with His vision (not another mans). Find an area to get involved in; it will help you grow as well as assist the Pastor in accomplishing the mission that God has called Redemptive Life to.

Heb 10:23-25 (KJV)23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
