2,556 - kids are born out of wedlock
2,989 - kids see their parents divorce
3,288 - kids run away from home
7,742 - teens become sexually active
623 - teens get syphilis or gonorrhea
2,795 - teenagers get pregnant
1,106 - teenagers have abortions
472 - teenagerss miscarry
689 - babies have inadequate care
67 - babies die before 1 month of life
105 - babiea die before their 1st birthday
1,849 - kids are abused or neglected
27 - children die from poverty
10 - children die from guns
30 - children are wounded from guns
135,000 - kids bring a gun to school
1,512 - teens drop out of school
437 - kids get arrested for drinking
211 - kids get arrested for drug abuse
1,629 - teens are in adult jail
6 - teens commit suicde

1. DEDICATE MY KIDS TO THE LORD

2. DISCIPLE MY KIDS

- Don’t say I will let my kids make their own
decisions about sp. things
- They don’t decide for them selves to go to
school, take a bath, or go to bed
3. DISCIPLINE MY KIDS

- Discipline is related to the word disciple
which means learner.
- Discipline refers to control, educate
- Involving the both of you.
- Involving a consistnatcy
- Firm but not harsh
4. DEVELOPE MY KIDS

- Prov 22:6 Train up a child in the way he
should go: and when he is old, he will not
depart from it.
- Here is a Bibical promise that givs hope for
our wandering kids.
- My responsibality is to give them every
oportunity MENTALLY
PHYSICALLY
SOCIALLY
SPIRITUALLY
- Lk. 2:52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and
stature, and infavor with God and men.
5. DEVOTE LOVE TO MY KIDS

- It’s more than providing physcial nessities
- Affection is just as important nessisity as
food clothing and a roof over their heads
- There was a tv show awhile back about a 12
year boy who sued his parents because he was
not loved
6. DEFEND MY KIDS
----------------
- The world, the flesh, and the devil will
devour and destroy our kids unless there
are some built-in defenses that will make
this impossible. We can build these
defenses.
- 1st we nedd to be somebody for Christ
- 2nd we need to do something for Christ
- We must be somebody if we want to do
something significant.
- The best defense that we can provide for our
children is inward rather than external.

X - X-actnes - in your words say what you mean
Y - You - Kids need you, not sitters, tv, toys
Z - Zero In - on their Spiritual life
